A hőmérséklet egyes területeken elérte a 10 Celsius-fokot is, a hőség pedig elősegítette a bozóttüzek lángra lobbanását a térségben, ezzel példátlan mennyiségű, mintegy 59 millió tonna szén-dioxid került a légkörbe – írta a Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) adatai alapján a BBC hírportálja.

A kontinentális éghajlatnak köszönhetően azonban olykor előfordulnak melegebb nyarak, amikor a maximum-hőmérséklet a 30 fokot is megközelítheti.
