A tájékoztatás szerint a korrekciót pénteken végezték el a Progressz MSZ-14 teherűrhajó hajtóművének segítségével. A hajtóművet mintegy 262 másodpercig működtették, hogy az ISS pályáját mintegy 900 méterrel csökkentsék.
Eredetileg úgy tervezték, hogy pénteken a Nemzetközi Űrállomás pályáját 500 méterrel megemelik. Július 3-án azonban terven kívüli pályamódosítást kellett végrehajtani, mert különben űrszeméttel ütközött volna. Akkor 900 méterrel megemelték pályáját.
Az ISS-en jelenleg két orosz űrhajós, Anatolij Ivanyisin és Ivan Vagner teljesít szolgálatot, valamint három amerikai kozmonauta, Christopher Cassidy, Douglas Hurley és Robert Behnken.
A Progressz MSZ-15 teherűrhajó indítását július 23-ra tervezik a kazahsztáni Bajkonur űrrepülőtérről. Fedélzetén üzemanyag, víz és gáz érkezik, továbbá az űrhajósok létéhez, illetve az űrkísérletek elvégzéséhez szükséges eszközök.

A Roszkoszmosz szerint a legénység zavartalanul folytatja feladatait, miközben a földi irányítás a koroljovi, illetve a houstoni irányító központokból folyamatosan ellenőrzés alatt tartja a helyzetet. Az űrállomás pályája hozzávetőleg 900 méterrel megemelkedett.
A Roszkoszmosz szerint a legénység zavartalanul folytatja feladatait, miközben a földi irányítás a koroljovi, illetve a houstoni irányító központokból folyamatosan ellenőrzés alatt tartja a helyzetet.
Az ISS fedélzetén jelenleg öten teljesítenek szolgálatot: Robert Behnken, Douglas Hurley és Chris Cassidy amerikai, valamint Anatolij Ivanyisin és Ivan Vagner orosz űrhajósok.
Az űrállomás általában körülbelül 405 kilométer magasságban, alacsony Föld körüli pályán kering, ám a légköri fékezőhatás és a pályamódosítások miatt ez a pályamagasság néhány kilométert változhat. Az űrállomás naponta átlagosan 100 métert veszít pályamagasságából és a Földet összesen 92 percenként kerüli meg.
