Egy 11 éves oklahomai kisfiú megmentette osztálytársa életét, majd a tűzből is kimentett egy mozgáskorlátozott nőt – írja a wctv.tv.
A 11 éves Davyon Johnson december 9-én Heimlich-műfogás segítségével meg mentette fuldokló osztálytárasa életét. A gyerek egy vizes palack kupakját nyelte véletlenül félre.
Még ugyan azon a napon Davyon észrevett egy kigyulladt házat. Odaszaladt, ekkor vette észre, hogy egy nő járókerettel próbál menekülni.
Azt gondoltam: „Nem mozog elég gyorsan. Ezért átszaladtam az úton, majd az autójához segítettem őt.” – mesélte a fiú.
A Muskogee-i rendőrség és a Muskogee megyei seriff hivatal is elismerte a fiú hősiességét, és tiszteletbeli rendőrtisztnek, és tiszteletbeli seriff helyettesnek nevezték ki.
Latricia Dawkins iskola igazgatónő duplán hősnek és kedves léleknek nevezte Davyont. Azt mondta, hogy ez az elismerés jobb emberrel nem is történhetett volna.
„Mindig is jelezte, hogy EMT (sürgősségi egészségügyi technikus) szeretne lenni. Szóval, ezt a vágyat tettekre kell váltania” – mondta a lapnak az igazgatónő.
