A videóban fekete-fehér felvételek készültek lerombolt és égő ukrajnai épületekről, infrastruktúráról és városokról, „Mondj nemet a háborúnak!” felirattal, szembeállítva hasonló új és felújított épületek színes képeivel „Válaszd a békét” szlogennel.

Csütörtökön a kínai állami médiahatóság utasítást adott ki, amely szerint mostantól nőies külsejű férfiaknak nincs helye a televíziós csatornákon, írta meg a Vice.
Kínában pejoratívan niang paonak nevezik a túlságosan elnőiesedett férfiakat, ebbe a kategóriába beletartoznak például azok a fiatal fiúk, akik fiúkról szóló szerelmi drámákban játszanak. Ők éles ellentétei a mostanra idősebb generációs férfi sztároknak, akiktől elvárták, hogy forradalmi dalokat énekeljenek, és eljátsszák a rettenthetetlen, agresszív katonákat, akik megvédik az országot a külföldi ellenségektől.
A döntést azzal indokolták, hogy az elnőiesedett férfitípus olyan kulturális import, ami veszélyezteti az országot. Több konzervatív szülő és tisztviselő tart attól, hogyha a fiatal férfiak kevésbé férfias mintákat látnak a televízióban, elveszítik férfias viselkedésüket, és veszélyeztetik az ország fejlődését.
Idén év elején az Oktatási Minisztérium már ígéretet tett arra, hogy a kínai iskolákban népszerűsíteni fogják a sportoktatást, válaszul egy politikus javaslatára, ami szerint
„meg kell akadályozni, hogy a férfiak túlságosan nőiessé váljanak”.
A kínai kormány káosznak tartja, ami a szórakoztatóiparban folyik, az új rendelet megjelenése előtt a kommunista párt egyik szócsöve azt írta, komoly társadalmi probléma a nőies férfiak népszerűsége, mert eltorzítja a kínai fiatalok ízlését.

Betiltották a külföldre sugárzó RT orosz állami televízió hét csatornáját Lettországban összhangban az Európai Unió által elrendelt szankciókkal – jelentette be a LETA balti hírügynökség a lett médiahatóságra (NEPLP) hivatkozva.
A NEPLP kedden közölte, hogy az RT, az RT HD, az RT Arabic, az RT Spanish, az RT Documentary HD, az RT Documentary és az RT TV műsorszórását függesztették fel, mert az Európai Unió szankciókat rendelt el Dmitrij Kiszeljovval, az RT vezérigazgatójával szemben, aki központi szerepet játszott a Krím félsziget 2014-ben történt elcsatolását övező orosz propagandában.
A lett médiahatóság egyben sürgette az uniós tagországokat, hogy kövessék példáját.
Az RT, amely korábban Russia Today néven volt ismert, egy orosz állami televíziós hálózat, amely a többi között angol, spanyol és arab nyelven terjeszt Kreml-barát tartalmakat.
Az NEPLP szerint az RT műsoraiban Lettországot bukott államként mutatja be. A médiahatóság Kiszeljovot a Kreml vezető propagandistájának nevezte, és közölte, hogy a tiltás addig marad érvényben, míg Kiszeljov az uniós szankciós listán szerepel.
Tavaly novemberben kilenc orosz televíziós csatornát tiltottak be Lettországban, mert az egyik tulajdonosuk, Jurij Kovalcsuk Kremlhez közel álló milliárdos bankár szintén felkerült a Krím orosz bekebelezése miatti szankciós lajstromra.
