Újságírók adatai szerint az offenzíva kezdete óta a 71 tankból mindössze öt harckocsit vesztett el.
Tíz harckocsi megrongálódott, de a lengyelországi és németországi javítások után visszakerültek a frontra. Megjegyezték, hogy a Leopard 2 alapos ereje ezeket a tankokat szinte elpusztíthatatlanná teszi.
„Ez azt jelenti, hogy a megrongálódott tankokat a javítóbázisra küldik, azt követően visszakerülnek a frontra, és ez így megy folyamatosan”– áll a közleményben.
A Forbes közölte, hogy a megsemmisült Leopard 2-ek legénységének szinte minden tagja – összesen 20 – elhagyta a járművet még azelőtt, mielőtt az kiégett vagy felrobbant volna.
A kulcsfontosságú volt a német gyártók azon döntése, hogy a 120 mm-es lőszer számára speciális rekeszeket szereltek fel a járműbe, amelyek, amikor találat éri, elirányítják a robbanóhullámot a legénységtől.
„Az orosz tankok éppen ellenkezőleg, lőszert tárolnak a tornyok alatt. Amikor a lőszerek felrobbannak, a torony elrepül, és a legénység három tagja azonnal meghal” – pontosítottak az újságírók.

Ukrajna átlagos embervesztesége az Oroszországgal vívott háborúban kisebb, mint a törökországi földrengés áldozatainak száma – jelentette ki Olekszij Reznyikov védelmi miniszter vasárnap egy lapinterjúban, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Reznyikov a La Razon című spanyol lapnak nyilatkozva elmondta, hogy Ukrajna veszteségeket szenved el, mert kénytelen megvédeni magát az agresszortól. Szerinte azonban a veszteségei „kritikusan alacsonyabbak az oroszokéinál”. „Nem tudom megmondani a számot, de biztosíthatom, hogy a teljes szám kisebb, mint a törökországi földrengésben elhunytak száma. Az a fő célunk, hogy megmentsük katonáink életét, miközben Oroszország ágyútöltelékként használja a sajátjait” – mutatott rá.
A védelmi miniszter hozzátette: Oroszország „húsdaráló” taktikával vív háborút. Ezért csak Bahmutban Moszkva naponta 500 halottat és sebesültet veszít – tette hozzá. „Ez barbárság. Egy éve 60 ezer tüzérségi lövedéket használtak naponta, ma 20 ezret. Az ellátással is gondjaik vannak, ezért vetnek be ellenünk iráni drónokat. Ezek terroristák fegyverei a civil lakosság ellen” – hangsúlyozta Olekszij Reznyikov.

Ukrajna háborús veszteségei 2023-ban elérhetik a 700 milliárd dollárt, miközben a legnagyobb kár a civil infrastruktúrát érte – jelentette ki vasárnap Denisz Smihal miniszterelnök egy lapinterjúban, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint a kormányfő a dél-koreai Yonhap hírügynökségnek nyilatkozva elmondta, hogy szerinte az orosz invázió leginkább a polgári területeket és létesítményeket érintette. Az energetikai infrastruktúra mellett vegyipari és kohászati üzemek, valamint turisztikai létesítmények is az orosz támadások célpontjai. „Oroszország a sűrűn lakott területeken célozza meg az infrastruktúrát” – megjegyezve, hogy a károk 70%-a lakóövezetekben keletkezett.
A miniszterelnök hangsúlyozta, hogy tavaly Ukrajna bruttó hazai terméke 30,4%-kal esett vissza 2021-hez képest, és 2022 június elejére a gazdasági veszteségek 350 milliárd dollárt tettek ki. Az előrejelzése szerint idén az összes háborús veszteség eléri a 700 milliárd dollárt. „A háború ellenére az ukrán gazdaság működik. A kormány haladéktalanul fizeti az összes bért és nyugdíjat. Mint az államfő kifejtette, kap adatokat a fegyveres erők veszteségeiről, de fontos az óvatosság a számokkal, mert emberéletekről van szó. „Katonáink álláspontja az, hogy ne nevezzék meg a halottak vagy a sebesültek pontos számát az ukrán katonákkal kapcsolatban. A fő kérdés a pontos adatok. Vannak adataim, amelyeket megkapok, és amelyeket rendelkezésemre bocsátanak. Nagyon óvatosnak kell lennünk a számokkal, mert emberi életekről beszélünk” – mutatott rá Volodimir Zelenszkij.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy Hanna Maljar védelmi miniszter-helyettes a napokban közölte, hogy a fegyveres erők veszteségei meghaladják a 9000 főt, de a pontos számot jelenleg nem lehet megadni, mivel a mariupoli veszteségek nem kiszámíthatók.
