A jelentés szerint Fedorov elmondta: „Ha a Shahedek és a nagy hatótávolságú drónok szegmenséről beszélünk, akkor egyszerűen Budanovot idézem. Egy néhány nappal ezelőtti interjúban azt mondta, hogy ezekben a drónokban paritás van. Azt mondom, hogy ez igaz, legalább tíz gyártó van, amelyik nagy hatótávolságú kamikaze drónokat gyárt.”
A miniszter megjegyezte, hogy a nagy hatótávolságú drónok gyártását csak a finanszírozás korlátozza. A termelés azonban folyamatosan bővül. „Ezeknek a drónoknak az ezreit lehet gyártani. Ezreket legyártottak már, szinte minden nap ég valami valahol Oroszország területén. Fél év alatt utolértük (Oroszországot – a szerk.). Oroszországnak meg kell értenie, hogy folytatjuk a gyártást, amit még csak most kezdtünk el” – mutatott rá. Elmondása szerint Ukrajna partnerei azt is figyelik, hogyan kerülik ki a drónok a légvédelmi rendszereket.
A digitális tárcavezető bejelentette a MAGURA tengeri drón továbbfejlesztett változatának megjelenését is. Mint elmondta, 2024-ben „új technológiai ugrás” várható a fejlődésben. „Nem tudjuk megmutatni, de van egy hajó, aminek bizonyos platformja van, és amely új alkalmazásokra készül új meglepetésekkel” – jelezte Mihajlo Fedorov.

Ukrajna jelentős előrelépéseket tesz a mesterséges intelligenciával (AI) felszerelt kamikaze drónok fejlesztésében – számolt be a Washington Post.
A beszámolók szerint az új ukrán, önvezérlő drónok akkor is képesek célpontokat támadni, ha elveszítik a kapcsolatot a kezelőikkel, köszönhetően az AI-alapú szoftvereknek, amelyek érzékelik az elektronikus interferenciát, stabilizálják a drónt, és az előre kiválasztott célpont felé irányítják azt.
Ez a technológia várhatóan növeli az ukrán drónok hatékonyságát a frontvonalbeli műveletekben, lehetővé téve számukra, hogy az esetleges kommunikációs zavarok ellenére is támadhassanak mozgó célpontokat.
Az ezekhez a pilóta nélküli légi járművekhez (UAV) használt mesterséges intelligencia-szoftvert a Twist Robotics fejlesztette ki. A cég szerint ez a technológia széles körben elterjed és költséghatékony lesz, akkor jelentős fejlesztést jelent majd Ukrajna FPV drónarzenáljában.
Nemrég Ukrajna elindította a „Drónok hadserege” projektet, egy pénzgyűjtési kezdeményezést, amelynek célja ember nélküli eszközök beszerzése az ország védelmi erői számára. A projekt részeként 60 egységnyi támadó drónt alakítanak ki, hogy segítsék az ukrán fegyveres erőket az orosz megszállók elleni harcban.
