Kedves olvasók, a képen Margaret, Agata és Charlotte látható, a harkivi állatkert legújabb lakói. A Humboldt-pingvineket a helyi vámhivatal vámolta le az állatkert számára, az állatok az Állatkertek és Akváriumok Európai Szövetsége a természetvédelemért és szaporításért program keretein belül érkeztek Ukrajnába.
Az információk szerint az állatok behozatala gyorsan és operatívan működött, a pingvinek repülőgépen érkeztek az országba, az állatkertben pedig egy speciálisan kialakított helyiségbe kerültek, ahol mindent megtettek kényelmükért.
A Humboldt-pingvinek (Spheniscus humboldti) állománya világszerte folyamatosan csökken. Jelenleg körülbelül 12 000 pár maradt, és a faj szerepel a Nemzetközi Természetvédelmi Unió Vörös Könyvében is.
Ukrajnában kizárólag a harkovi állatkertben tekinthetőek meg.

Az Állami Technogén, Környezet- és Katasztrófavédelmi Bizottság úgy döntött, hogy Harkivot a piros karantén zónába sorolja, számolt be PavlovskyNEWS Olekszij Kucser, Harkiv megye kormányzójához közeli forrásra hivatkozva.
A piros zónára jellemző mutatók: a megbetegedések kitörésszerű gyakorisága, a kórházi ágyak több mint 75%-os kihasználtsága öt egymást követő napon át. Ilyen régiókban az országos átlagos előfordulás ötször magasabb.
Az alábbi szabályok lépnek hatályba:

A hölgy elmondása szerint 1954. július 4-én a városban 35,2 fokot mértek, idén pedig 36-ot. Júliusban az abszolút rekord 38,8 fok volt, melyet 1931-ben jegyeztek fel.
A szakértők elmondása szerint a hőség még legalább két napig áll majd fenn Harkivban, ezt követően jön egy hidegfront, s a hőmérséklet 25–30 fokra csökken majd.
