Marjan Sarec bejelentette, hogy Szlovénia csatlakozni kíván az Európai Unió ukrán katonáknak nyújtott kiképzőmissziójához. A kiképzésben a szlovén katonai állomány tagjai és polgári szakértők fognak részt venni.

A jelentés szerint az elnök elmondta: „mindenki látta, milyen embereink vannak! Készek az utolsót adni. Készek kitartani a végsőkig. Nem veszítettük el a méltóságunkat. Bátorságunkat. Az államfő felidézte a tavalyi méltóság és szabadság napján mondott beszédét, amelyben azt mondta, hogy az ukránok nagyon magas árat fizettek és fizetnek a szabadságért. Leszögezte: soha nem felejtjük el azokat, akik életüket adták Ukrajnáért, és soha nem bocsátunk meg azoknak, akik az életüket elvették, és meg akartak fosztani minket a szabadságunktól. „Azóta sok minden megváltozott – bombatölcsérek jelentek meg Ukrajna földjén, úttorlaszok és tankcsapdák a városokban és falvakban. Sötét van az utcákon, hideg a házakban” – tette hozzá.
„Sok változás van, de a legfontosabb nem változott. Mert a legfontosabb nem kívülről, hanem belülről jön. És ez így is marad. És ezért mindent ki fogunk bírni. Ki fogunk tartani” – mutatott rá Volodimir Zelenszkij.

Újabb fogolycsere keretében csütörtökön 107 ukrán katona szabadult ki orosz fogságból – számolt be Andrij Jermak, az ukrán elnöki iroda vezetője a Telegram üzenetküldő alkalmazáson.
A tisztségviselő kiemelte, hogy a most kiszabadultak közül 74-en a Donyeck megyei Mariupolban lévő Azovsztal üzemben estek orosz fogságba. Jermak szavai szerint sok közöttük a súlyos sérült.
„Ma újabb foglyokat cseréltünk. 107 katonát – 6 tisztet, 101 közkatonát és őrmestert – sikerült kiszabadítani. Ezek a mi fiaink a fegyveres erőktől” – írta Jermak.
Az állam mindent megtesz, hogy mindannyiuknak segítsen – ígérte.
Ukrán részről arra nem tértek ki, hogy cserébe hány foglyot adtak át az orosz oldalnak.

Dánia hozzájárult, hogy területén képezzenek ki ukrán katonákat – jelentette a Ritzau hírügynökség Morten Bodskov dán védelmi miniszterre hivatkozva, aki kedden találkozott ukrán hivatali partnerével Kijevben.
A Ritzau szerint Bodskov nem árult el több részletet a kiképzendő ukrán katonák számáról, a kiképzés helyszínéről vagy időtartamáról.
A dán védelmi minisztérium augusztusban közölte, hogy a királyság 130 katonával veszi ki részét a Nagy-Britannia vezette kiképzési programból.
Dánia 2015 óta mind a brit, mind a kanadai kiképzési missziókhoz hozzájárult, illetve fegyvereket szállított és kiberbiztonsági támogatást nyújtott Ukrajnának a februárban megindult orosz támadás után.

A spanyol hadsereg csatlakozik az ukrán hadsereg kiképzésének folyamatához. A képzés Spanyolország területén zajlik majd. A hírt az EL Mundo közölte.
Spanyolország hetek óta készül az ukrán hadsereg érkezésére. „Spanyolország hetek óta készül az ukrán katonai kontingensek érkezésére, akik kiképzésen vesznek részt országunk bázisán” – áll a közleményben.
A kiképzésre Zaragozában kerül sor, de egyelőre nem közölték, meddig tart majd, és hány ukrán katona vesz részt rajta.

Az ukrán fegyveres erők több mint 4000 katonája vett részt 14 partnerországban kiképzésen, hogy elsajátítsák a külföldi fegyverek és a katonai technika kezelését – jelentette be Olekszij Hromov, az ukrán fegyveres erők vezérkara hadműveleti főosztályának vezetőhelyettese, tájékoztatott az Interfax-Ukrajna.
„Eddig az ukrán fegyveres erők több mint 4000 katonája esett át képzésen 14 partnerországban, hogy elsajátítsák a külföldi fegyverek és a katonai technika kezelését és elvégezhessék a rájuk bízott feladatokat. Ebből az állományból több mint 2000 katona a tüzérségi, 500 a reaktív rendszerben és a légvédelemben dolgozó szakember, közel 200 fő a páncéltörő fegyverek üzemeltetését és karbantartását, mintegy 100 fő pedig a hadműveleti és radarrendszerek karbantartását végzi” – közölte Hromov a tájékoztatón.
