Csak a koronavírus ellen teljesen beoltott emberek vehetnek részt a találkozón Ferenc pápával, aki szeptemberben érkezik Szlovákiába. A hírt a Jevropejszka pravda közölte az Euractivra hivatkozva.
A pápa érkezésévek kapcsolatos tömeges események több ember számára lesznek nyitottak, mint amennyit a koronavírusjárvány miatt elfogadott jelenlegi szabályok megengednek. A döntés azt jelenti, hogy a be nem oltott személyeknek 11 napjuk van arra, hogy teljesen beoltassák magukat a Pfizer vagy Moderna vakcinával, amennyiben részt akarnak venni az eseményen.
A pápa látogatása növelheti az oltások szintjét, mivel a szlovákok 76%-a is kereszténynek vallja magát. Így várhatóan több szlovák állampolgár akar majd eljönni az eseményre.
Jelenleg a lakosság 40%-a kapta meg az oltást, közülük 34% már teljesen immunizált.
A római pápa szeptember 12–15. között érkezik Szlovákiába.
