A hollywoodi színésznő, rendező és az UNICEF jószolgálati nagykövete, Angelina Jolie megosztotta benyomásait a Herszonban és Mikolajivban tett látogatásáról – számolt be a Legacy of War Foundation jótékonysági alapítvány sajtószolgálata.
A színésznő ukrajnai látogatása során járt ezekben a városokban, ahol egészségügyi dolgozókkal, családokkal és önkéntesekkel találkozott, akik folyamatos tüzérségi és dróntámadások veszélyében élnek.

A napokban Mikolajiv városában, légiriadó alatt egy csoport tinédzser nem tudott bejutni egy lakónegyedben található óvóhelyre – az ajtaja zárva volt.
A támadást követően a Korabelov.info helyi portál közzétette egy olvasó bejelentését, amely leírja a történteket:
„Nem tudom, kihez forduljak… légiriadó idején a gyerekek megpróbáltak bemenni az alagsori óvóhelyre. Minden zárva volt. Senki nem engedte be őket. A gyerekek összebújva álltak az utcán, miközben a robbanás történt. Egyszerűen csak várták a robbanást a szabad ég alatt. A becsapódás 300 méterre volt tőlük… a lányom is köztük volt. A gyerekek még mindig sokkos állapotban vannak. 14 és 17 év közöttiek” – áll a bejegyzésben.
A rendőrség ellenőrizte a panaszt, és megerősítette a leírt eseményeket. Az ügyben nyomozás indult.

Az önálló vízellátással rendelkező létesítmények továbbra is a megszokott módon működnek. Mikolajivban július 15-e óta a legtöbb óvoda ideiglenesen bezár a központosított vízellátással kapcsolatos helyzet miatt, számolt be a Mikolajivi Városi Tanács.
Az közleményben közölték, ez egy kényszerű, de „feltétlenül szükséges döntés volt, mivel a víztisztító rendszerek központosított vízellátó rendszeren működnek”.
„Ivóvíz nélkül lehetetlen biztosítani a higiéniai és egészségügyi feltételek betartását, valamint a gyermekek biztonságos tartózkodását az intézményben” – tette hozzá a városi tanács.
Néhány, önálló vízellátással rendelkező intézmény azonban továbbra is a megszokott módon fog működni. A közlemény szerint ezek a 92., 99., 112. és 147. számú óvodák.
A hatóságok a vízellátás helyreállítását követően azonnal bejelentik a többi óvoda munkájának folytatását.

Volodimir Zelenszkij látogatást tett pénteken Herszon és Mikolajiv megyékben, ahol találkozott a katonai vezetőkkel, helyi tisztviselőkkel és ukrán katonákkal – jelentette az elnöki hivatal a Kiyiv Independent szerint.
Herszonban Zelenszkij megvitatta a harctéri helyzetet Valerij Zaluzsnij ukrán főparancsnokkal, Szerhij Saptalával, a vezérkari főnökkel, Jurij Sodollal, a tengerészgyalogság parancsnokával és Andrij Hnatovval, az Odesszai Operatív és Stratégiai Csoport parancsnokával.
A megbeszélésen a jelentések szerint az Avdijivka és Kupjanszk térségében folyó harcokról, Ukrajna déli hadműveleteiről és a frontvonalak fegyverellátásáról volt szó.
Zelenszkij emellett meglátogatta egy határőregység állásait Herszon megyében, és Szerhij Deinekóval, az ukrán Állami Határszolgálat vezetőjével megvitatta az ukrán határőrök szolgálati körülményeit és igényeit a frontvidékeken. Ezt követően az elnök a szomszédos Mykolaivi területre utazott, hogy megvitassa a régió védelmi és humanitárius helyzetét.
Vitalij Kim, a Mikolajivi terület kormányzója és Olekszandr Szienkevics, Mikolajiv polgármestere tájékoztatta Zelenszkijt a felszabadított települések és a régió fővárosának víz- és gázellátásának helyreállításáról, valamint a fűtési szezonra való felkészülésről.
Hnatov tájékoztatta az elnököt a Fekete-tenger biztonsági kérdéseiről, az orosz agresszió által a hajózásra jelentett veszélyekről és Ukrajna kikötői infrastruktúrájának védelméről. Zelenszkij ellátogatott a Mikolajivi terület egyik katonai kórházába is, ahol állami kitüntetéseket adott át sebesült katonáknak, és megköszönte a medikusok munkáját.
