 A telephely, amiről szó van, a Cann Groupé, ahol orvosi marihuánát termesztenek. Ez egyébként az első olyan ausztrál cég, ami engedélyt kapott, hogy orvosi és kutatási célokból, legálisan termeszthesse a füvet.
 Rhys Cohen, a cég kommunikációs munkatársa szerint a növényeknek különböző spektrumú fényre van szükségük a növekedésük elősegítéséhez. Ilyen például a vörös fény, amit a leggyakrabban használnak a növények nevelésénél. Cohen szerint a sötétítés éppen azért kell, hogy az ilyen jelenségeket kiküszöböljék.
 A fent említett cég még július 7-én kapta meg az engedélyt az orvosi marihuána termesztésére. A lap azt írja, az, hogy a cég hol termeli a marihuánát, a vállalat tevékenységéből fakadóan érthető módon nem nyilvános. Legalábbis eddig nem volt az.
