A német szövetségi kormány újabb, ezúttal 11 millió eurós katonai támogatást nyújt az ukrán fegyveres erőknek, ami segít felkészülni a hadseregnek a közelgő télre – számolt be vasárnap az Ukrajinszka Pravda hírportál a Der Spiegel című német hetilapra hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint az újság bennfentes forrásokból megtudta, hogy a német kormánytámogatás 100 000 darab kabátot és egyéb téli ruházatot, 100 darab fűthető sátrat, több száz mobil áramfejlesztőt és tartós élelmiszerekből álló komplex csomagokat tartalmaz.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy a nyár végén Olekszij Reznyikov védelmi miniszter felhívást intézett Jens Stoltenberg NATO főtitkárhoz, hogy sürgősen biztosítson téli felszerelést az ukrán fegyveres erők számára, különös tekintettel a téli egyenruhákra 200 000 katona számára. Ezt követően vált ismeretessé, hogy Dánia, Litvánia és a NATO számos tagja segíti Ukrajnát téli katonai egyenruhákkal. A NATO-parancsnokság előzetes adatai szerint jelenleg az Ukrajna által benyújtott igények mintegy 50%-ára van fedezet.
A német szövetségi kormány a múlt héten két Bergpanzer 2 páncélozott javító- és evakuációs járművet adott Ukrajnának az orosz agresszió elleni katonai segélycsomag részeként.
