Kellogg megjegyezte, hogy a konfliktus következtében Ukrajnában mindkét fél „többezer áldozatot” szenvedett el. Azt is összehasonlította, hogy Mariupol, amelyet teljesen elpusztítottak az orosz csapatok, hasonló volt az amerikai Denverhez.

Az ellentámadás 13 hete alatt Ukrajna a szövetségesek által szállított Leopard 2 harckocsik kevesebb mint tizedét veszítette el a harcok során, számolt be a tájékozott forrásokra hivatkozva a Forbes.
Újságírók adatai szerint az offenzíva kezdete óta a 71 tankból mindössze öt harckocsit vesztett el.
Tíz harckocsi megrongálódott, de a lengyelországi és németországi javítások után visszakerültek a frontra. Megjegyezték, hogy a Leopard 2 alapos ereje ezeket a tankokat szinte elpusztíthatatlanná teszi.

Ukrajna átlagos embervesztesége az Oroszországgal vívott háborúban kisebb, mint a törökországi földrengés áldozatainak száma – jelentette ki Olekszij Reznyikov védelmi miniszter vasárnap egy lapinterjúban, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Reznyikov a La Razon című spanyol lapnak nyilatkozva elmondta, hogy Ukrajna veszteségeket szenved el, mert kénytelen megvédeni magát az agresszortól. Szerinte azonban a veszteségei „kritikusan alacsonyabbak az oroszokéinál”. „Nem tudom megmondani a számot, de biztosíthatom, hogy a teljes szám kisebb, mint a törökországi földrengésben elhunytak száma. Az a fő célunk, hogy megmentsük katonáink életét, miközben Oroszország ágyútöltelékként használja a sajátjait” – mutatott rá.
A védelmi miniszter hozzátette: Oroszország „húsdaráló” taktikával vív háborút. Ezért csak Bahmutban Moszkva naponta 500 halottat és sebesültet veszít – tette hozzá. „Ez barbárság. Egy éve 60 ezer tüzérségi lövedéket használtak naponta, ma 20 ezret. Az ellátással is gondjaik vannak, ezért vetnek be ellenünk iráni drónokat. Ezek terroristák fegyverei a civil lakosság ellen” – hangsúlyozta Olekszij Reznyikov.

Ukrajna háborús veszteségei 2023-ban elérhetik a 700 milliárd dollárt, miközben a legnagyobb kár a civil infrastruktúrát érte – jelentette ki vasárnap Denisz Smihal miniszterelnök egy lapinterjúban, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint a kormányfő a dél-koreai Yonhap hírügynökségnek nyilatkozva elmondta, hogy szerinte az orosz invázió leginkább a polgári területeket és létesítményeket érintette. Az energetikai infrastruktúra mellett vegyipari és kohászati üzemek, valamint turisztikai létesítmények is az orosz támadások célpontjai. „Oroszország a sűrűn lakott területeken célozza meg az infrastruktúrát” – megjegyezve, hogy a károk 70%-a lakóövezetekben keletkezett.
A miniszterelnök hangsúlyozta, hogy tavaly Ukrajna bruttó hazai terméke 30,4%-kal esett vissza 2021-hez képest, és 2022 június elejére a gazdasági veszteségek 350 milliárd dollárt tettek ki. Az előrejelzése szerint idén az összes háborús veszteség eléri a 700 milliárd dollárt. „A háború ellenére az ukrán gazdaság működik. A kormány haladéktalanul fizeti az összes bért és nyugdíjat. A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy Hanna Maljar védelmi miniszter-helyettes a napokban közölte, hogy a fegyveres erők veszteségei meghaladják a 9000 főt, de a pontos számot jelenleg nem lehet megadni, mivel a mariupoli veszteségek nem kiszámíthatók.
