 Альпініст, відомий своїми карколомними вчинками та арештами, які слідують за ними, цього разу піднявся на офісну будівлю «Tour TotalEnergies» у діловому районі Парижа, і цього разу, звісно, без страхувальної мотузки.
 «Я хочу повідомити людям, що 60 років – ніщо. Навіть у такому віці ви можете займатися спортом і робити дивовижні речі», — сказав Роберт незадовго перед своїм арештом.
 Спортсмен-екстремал не вперше піднявся на цю будівлю. Цього разу підкорення тривало близько години.
 Ален Робер своїм вчинком традиційно хотів привернути увагу до небезпеки глобального потепління. Французький спортсмен підкорив уже чимало відомих будівель у всьому світі без попереднього повідомлення чи отримання дозволу. Наймасштабнішим його кидком було підкорення найвищого у світі хмарочоса, 828-метрового Бурдж-Халіфа в Дубаї.
