Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök reagált a kárpátaljai 128. különálló hegyi rohamdandár katonáinak halálára, és az eset körülményeinek teljes kivizsgálását ígérte – számolt be vasárnap az rbc.ua hírportál az államfő összefoglalójára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint Zelenszkij elmondta: „Részvétem az elesett katonák minden hozzátartozójának és barátjának! Ez egy olyan tragédia, amely elkerülhető lett volna. Umerov védelmi miniszter tájékoztatott a történtek minden körülményének kiderítésére tett intézkedésekről, konkrétan ki milyen parancsot adott.”
Az elnök hozzátette, hogy a tragédia miatt büntetőeljárást is indult. Az erre vonatkozó vizsgálat folyamatban van – tette hozzá. „A lényeg az, hogy megállapítsuk a teljes igazságot a történtekről, és hogy ilyesmi ne fordulhasson elő. Minden katona a harci övezetben, az ellenség hatókörében és a légi felderítés terében tudja, hogyan kell viselkedni a szabad ég alatt, hogyan kell vigyáznia a biztonságára” – mutatott rá.
Az államfő hangsúlyozta: most a nyomozásnak őszinte válaszokat kell adnia az elesett katonák hozzátartozóinak és a társadalomnak, hogy hogyan történt a tragédia, kinek a parancsa volt rossz. „Változások lesznek a hanyagsággal, a szovjetizmussal és a szörnyű bürokráciával kapcsolatban, amelyek nem teszik lehetővé Ukrajna számára, és akadályozzák a védelmi erőinket abban, hogy helyesen, hatékonyan aknázzák ki a potenciáljukat” – húzta alá Volodimir Zelenszkij.

A Boksay József Kárpátaljai Szépművészeti Múzeumban lezárult a Glück Gábor alkotásait bemutató kiállítás, amelyet Ukrajna Érdemes művésze születésének 110. évfordulója alkalmából rendeztek.
