„Megpróbáltuk megbecsülni a 2023. január 1-i népességet az ország határain belül. 28 és 34 millió ember közötti eltérést kaptunk. Ez annak tudható be, hogy nem értjük, mi történik a migrációval” – mondta el.



Libanova hangsúlyozta, hogy pontosabb adatokhoz juthatunk, ha a megtudjuk nyugati és a moldovai határt átlépő ukránok pontos számát.



Elmondása szerint továbbá minden ország számára a népszámlálás a fő információforrás. Ukrajnában ilyen eljárásra 2001-ben került sor.
