A háború végéig Hmeljnickij megyében moratóriumot rendeltek el az orosz nyelvű kulturális termékek bármilyen formában történő nyilvános felhasználására.
Az erről szóló rendeletet a megyei tanács képviselőinek többsége támogatta. A képviselők azt is javasolták, hogy a megyei katonai adminisztráció hozzon létre egy munkacsoportot, amely figyelmeztetné az illetékeseket a moratórium betartására.
A rendelet kezdeményezője Violeta Labazjuk, a megyei tanács elnöke volt, aki elmondta, hogy számos iskola utolsó csengőjén orosz dalok hangzottak el, s ez a jelen helyzetben nem helyes.

Az ukrán nacionalista vezér óriásportréinak köztéri kifüggesztése nem véletlen, ugyanis holnap, január 1-jén lesz Bandera születésének 113. évfordulója.
Mint hírportálunk a napoban beszámolt róla, Sztepan Bandera nacionalista vezért ábrázoló hatalmas plakátot feszítettek ki Ternopilban, a megyei állami adminisztráció épületének homlokzatára „Bandera apánk. Ukrajna anyánk” felirattal. A jelentés szerint a 20 méter magas, 11 méter széles plakát kifüggesztésén öt személy több mint egy órán át dolgozott.
