Az idei évben jelentősen, 19%-kal nőtt Sztepan Bandera tevékenységének pozitív megítélése, a nacionalizmus eszméjének támogatottsága pedig már elérte a 67%-ot – derült ki egy frissen végzett közvélemény-kutatás eredményeiből, adta hírül csütörtökön az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint a Demokratikus Kezdeményezések Alapítvány és a Razumkov Központ által végzett felmérésben a válaszadók mindössze 11%-a nyilatkozott negatívan Bandera szerepéről. További 19% nyilatkozott úgy, hogy pozitív és negatív attitűdök is vannak Sztepan Bandera tevékenységében, és körülbelül 18% nem tudott válaszolni erre a kérdésre. Ugyanakkor a megkérdezettek mindössze 2%-a nyilatkozott úgy, hogy nem hallott ilyen ukrán politikai személyiségről.
A kutatás adatai szerint a válaszadók 67%-a egyetért az „egészséges” nacionalizmus szükségességével. Az évek során a nacionalizmust szükségszerűnek tekintő ukránok aránya egyre nő, és ezzel párhuzamosan csökken azoknak az aránya, akik nem támogatják a nacioanlizmust.
A felmérést a Demokratikus Kezdeményezések Alapítvány és a Razumkov Központ 2022. augusztus 5. és 12. között végezte, 2024 válaszadó bevonásával, de csak azokon a területeken, amelyeket az ukrán kormány ellenőrzése alatt vannak, és ahol nem folynak háborús cselekmények. Az elméleti mintavételi hibahatár nem haladja meg a 2,3%-ot.
