Az indiai ZEE5 streamingszolgáltató egy magyar sikerfilmből, a Liza, a rókatündérből készített remake-et. Hasonlóra eddig nagyon kevés példa volt.
A filmneweurope.com cikke szerint az indiai változat az Aafat-e-Ishq címet kapta, és a készítői szerint inkább adaptáció, mint remake.
Sok új csavart vittünk bele, saját zenékkel és kisvárosi, indiai karakterekkel – közölte a film rendezője, Indrajit Nattoji a bemutató idején.
A film cselekménye szerint Lallo, a 30 éves nő kétségbeesve keresi a szerelmet. Élete akkor változik meg, amikor megörökli munkaadója házát, de ezzel egy átok is jár: minden férfi, aki belehabarodik, hamar életét veszti. Csakúgy, mint a Liza, a rókatündérben.
A cikk megjegyzi, hogy az eredeti magyar változat 2015-ben óriási siker lett, több mint 100 ezer nézőt csábított be a mozikba, és számos díjat is nyert.
A múltban egyébként kevés magyar filmből készítettek remake-et, a leghíresebb talán a Sylvester Stallonéval Budapesten forgatott Menekülés a győzelembe című sportfilm, amelynek eredeti változata Fábri Zoltán Két félidő a pokolban című alkotása volt. A Vészhelyzet című sorozatból ismert Noah Wyle pedig évek óta tervezi, hogy sorozatként adaptálja Till Attila Tiszta szívvel című 2016-os mozifilmjét. Annak idején, még 1935-ben brit filmesek adaptálták az egy évvel azelőtt bemutatott magyar Meseautót Álmok autója címen.
