A svájci Szövetségi Tanács május 22-én rendeletet adott ki a június 15–16-án Burgenstockon megrendezésre kerülő ukrajnai békekonferencia idejére vonatkozó fokozott biztonsági intézkedésekről – írja az Ukrajinszka Pravda.
A találkozó biztonsága érdekében Svájc akár négyezer katonát is bevethet. A svájci törvények szerint a 2000 főnél több katona bevetését a parlamentnek jóvá kell hagynia, mivel azonban a csúcstalálkozó előtt nem lesz ideje döntést hozni, a Szövetségi Tanács ősszel jelentést nyújtott be a törvényhozóknak.
Emellett Svájc korlátozni fogja a légtér használatát Burgenstock térségében.
