A fehérorosz belügyminisztérium csütörtökön bejelentette, hogy a szélsőséges szervezeteket tartalmazó listájára tette az amerikai Szabad Európa Rádiót/Szabadság Rádiót (RFE/RL) – írja az MTI.
A döntés jogi következménye, hogy az RFE/RL fehérorosz előfizetői akár hatéves börtönbüntetéssel is sújthatók.
A minszki kormány és a Nyugat között idén tovább romlott az egyébként is feszült viszony. Aljakszandr Lukasenka államfő tavaly augusztusban nyerte el hatodik elnöki mandátumát az ellenzék és nyugati országok által is vitatott választásokon. Tiltakozás robbant ki, a tüntetési hullámot a karhatalom elfojtotta. Lukasenkát immár számos nyugati ország és az EU nem ismeri el törvényes államfőnek, és célzott szankciókkal is sújtották kormányának tagjait.
