Az ungvári iskolákban idén nem egységes időpontban kezdődik a téli szünet. A legtöbb oktatási intézményben a diákok 2025. december 20-tól, néhány helyen pedig december 22-től mennek vakációzni. Az iskolások legközelebb 2026. január 5-én mennek iskolába. A város vezetése azzal indokolta az eltéréseket, hogy Ungváron minden általános középfokú oktatási intézmény külön jogi személy, így az iskolák önállóan határozzák meg a szünet kezdetét, végét és időtartamát. A tanintézmények emellett saját hatáskörben tervezik meg a szünidei programokat is, figyelembe véve az adott iskola oktatási tervét és az aktuális biztonsági helyzetet. A Munkácsi kistérségben a tanulók 2025. december 22-én kezdik a téli szünetet, amely összesen öt hétig tart majd. Ennek megfelelően a diákok csak 2026. január 26-án ülnek vissza az iskolapadba. A városi tanács közlése szerint az oktatás ezt követően a jóváhagyott tantervek alapján, a megszokott rendben folytatódik.
A tervek szerint 2022. szeptember 15-ig több mint 3000 iskola nyílik meg: ki van alakítva az óvóhely, de a megyei adminisztrációk jóváhagyásaira várnak – közölte Kirilo Timosenko, az Elnöki Hivatal helyettes vezetője, számolt be az Interfax-Ukrajna.
Elmondása szerint Ukrajnában összesen 15 300 iskola van, több mint 13 800 iskola az ukrán hatóságok ellenőrzése alatt lévő területeken, ebből szeptember 1-jén 6700 nyitotta meg kapuit a gyermekek előtt. Timosenko elmondta, hogy a 6700 iskola közül 4600 rendelkezik óvóhellyel és a megfelelő felszereléssel, csaknem 2200 intézmény rendelkezik 100 méteren belül lévő óvóhellyel.
Az Elnöki Hivatal helyettes vezetője megjegyezte, csaknem 4000 iskola zárva tart, mivel nem rendelkezik megfelelően kialakított óvóhellyel sem az intézményen belül, sem 100 méteres körzetben. Timosenko elmondta, hogy 1800 iskola található 40 km-es távolságra a frontvonaltól vagy az Oroszországi Föderációval és a Fehérorosz Köztársasággal közös határszakasztól, ezért ezen iskolákban nem folyhat jelenléti oktatás.
A tisztviselő kiemelte, Ukrajnában a háború kezdete óta 823 iskola rongálódott meg vagy teljesen megsemmisült.

Az angliai középiskolákban a tanulókat arra fogják felszólítani, hogy a jövő héttől, a karácsonyi szünetről visszatérve viseljenek maszkot, hogy útját állják a koronavírus omikron variánsa egyre nagyobb mértékű terjedésének – közölte Nadhim Zahawi oktatási miniszter vasárnap.
A politikus a The Sunday Telegraph című konzervatív vasárnapi brit lapban megjelent cikkben kifejtette, az omikron terjedése miatt ezt a kiegészítő, ideiglenes intézkedést a következő hetekben javasolják bevezetni a középiskolai osztálytermekben.
Az Egyesült Királyságot alkotó négy országból egyedül Angliában nem volt ajánlott a maszk használata az osztálytermekben. A napi fertőzési számok egyre magasabb értékei miatt, valamint azért, mert a pozitív tesztet produkálóknak legalább hét napig el kell szigetelniük magukat, az iskolák és más közszolgáltatások munkaerőhiánnyal küzdenek.
A kormány arra kérte a közszféra vezetőit: készüljenek fel arra a legrosszabb forgatókönyvre, hogy az elkövetkező hetekben a dolgozók negyede kiesik a munkából.
Zahawi szerint szükség lesz távoktatásra is, mivel a tanulók és a tanárok nagy számban lesznek kénytelenek önkéntesen karanténba vonulni. Hozzátette azonban, hogy a személyes tanítás továbbra is elvárt norma marad, és a vizsgák is a tervek szerint zajlanak majd januárban.
