Lemondta Valentina Lisitsa ukrán zongoraművész június 3-i fellépését a Margitszigeti Színház, miután értesült „megdöbbentő megnyilvánulásáról”. A közlemény szerint a színház vezetése Ukrajna budapesti nagykövetétől, Ljubov Nepoptól tudta meg, hogy Lisitsa az orosz agresszorok által megszállt Mariupolban május 9-én koncertet adott.
„Fellépésével Lisitsa, a világ nemzeteinek álláspontjával szemben, egyértelműen kinyilvánította az orosz agresszor melletti szimpátiáját” – olvasható a színház közleményében.
„A Margitszigeti Színház Nonprofit Kft. határozottan elutasítja a zongoraművésznő álláspontját, egyet értve Magyarország és a nemzetközi közösség hivatalos álláspontjával, mely minden tekintetben elítéli Oroszország – rengeteg civil áldozattal járó – Ukrajna elleni háborús agresszióját” – írták. Jelezték azt is, hogy mély együttérzésüket fejezik ki az Ukrajnát sújtó háború borzalmai miatt.
