 A lila buszok a Londonhoz közeli lutoni reptér és a lutoni vasútállomás között szállították az utasokat, de márciustól egy új vasúti járat váltotta ki őket, így fölöslegessé váltak. A tulajdonosok három buszt egy Ukrajnát segítő brit alapítványnak adtak át, amely eljuttatta azokat az ukrán haderőnek.
 Az alapítvány májusban már kapott egy buszt, amelyet egészségügyi központtá alakítottak át.

 A lutoni lila buszokat zuhanyzókkal és illemhelyekkel szerelték fel.
 Kettő közülük a katonák pihenőhelyeként, illetve az ellátmányt szállító járműként szolgál majd. A harmadikon valószínűleg mozgó kiállítás lesz, amely az oroszok által okozott pusztítást mutatja majd be.
 Bár az eredeti szándék az volt, hogy a buszokat fehérre festik át, és vörös kereszttel látják el, de végül úgy döntöttek, meghagyják a lila színt, hogy átlagos személyszállító busznak nézzenek ki, ugyanis az oroszok szándékosan támadnak egészségügyi létesítményeket.
