Mint mondta, a brit légierő körülbelül 300 tagja utazik Észtországba. A Sky News szerint ez az első alkalom, hogy egy ilyen jellegű közös gyakorlaton vesznek részt a németek és a britek.
Nemrég arról is szó esett, hogy Lengyelországban is tarthatnak egy amerikai–német–lengyel közös hadgyakorlatot a közeljövőben.

Nagy-Britannia több mint 900 generátort és mintegy 15 000 felszerelést küldött az extrém hidegek esetére az ukrán fegyveres erők számára, és karácsonyig további 10 000 készletet szállítanak Ukrajnába – mondta Ben Wallace brit védelmi miniszter.
Wallace megjegyezte, hogy „segítenünk kell Ukrajnának talpra állni, és a jövő évben megrendezendő újjáépítési konferencia felgyorsítja ezt a folyamatot”.
A miniszter azt is hangsúlyozta, hogy Nagy-Britannia mindent megtesz az ukrán katonák harci képességeinek fejlesztése érdekében.
„Mivel 2022-ben 10 000 embert képezünk ki az Egyesült Királyság területén, arra törekszem, hogy fegyveres erőink szövetségeseinkkel együtt 2023-ban legalább megduplázzák a gyakornokok számát” – mondta Wallace.

A tél közeledtével ez a felszerelés lehetővé teszi az ukrán erőknek, hogy továbbra is hatékonyan működjenek.
