Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök egy konferencián közölte, hogy az Ukrajnában folyó teljes körű orosz invázió és háború következtében teljesen leállt a rákos betegek kezelése – adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál pénteken az elnök felszólalására hivatkozva.
A tudósítás szerint Zelenszkij a Brave Ukraine elnevezésű konferencián mondott beszédében kijelentette, hogy Oroszország katonai agressziója miatt nagyon komoly problémákkal szembesült Ukrajna egészségügyi rendszere. „Különösen most, hogy hazánkban nem kezelik a rákos betegeket” – tette hozzá. Megjegyezte, hogy ráadásul Ukrajnában gondok vannak az inzulinhoz való hozzáféréssel, és hiány van antibiotikumokból is.
Az elnök emlékeztetett arra, hogy Oroszország olyan problémákat okozott Ukrajnának, Európának, amelyeket néhány hónapja még elképzelni sem tudtak. „Ilyen a daganatos betegek kezelésének szinte teljes hiánya. Rendkívül bonyolult a cukorbetegek számára az inzulinhoz való hozzáférés, a készítményből nagy a hiány. Lehetetlen sebészeti beavatkozásokat végezni” – mondta. Kiemelte, hogy még antibiotikumokból is hiánya van. „Mindez az orosz megszállás következménye területünk és lakosságunk egy része számára, amelyeket fel kell szabadítanunk a megszállás alól” – mutatott rá Volodimir Zelenszkij.
