A fogyasztói árak széles körű és nagymértékű emelkedése aggasztja leginkább a lakosságot Németországban, egy hét elején ismertetett felmérés szerint.
A McKinsey nemzetközi vállalati tanácsadó cég kutatása szerint Németországban még az ukrajnai háborúnál és a továbbra is tartó koronavírus-világjárványnál is nagyobb nyugtalanságot okoz az infláció.
A lakosság 40 százaléka látja úgy, hogy az infláció a legnagyobb gond. Oroszország Ukrajna elleni háborúját 34 százalék sorolta az első helyre, a koronavírus-járványt pedig csupán 8 százalék.
A felméréssel a többi között azt is kimutatták, hogy a németek csaknem egyharmada, 29 százaléka tart attól, hogy a drágulás miatt engednie kell életszínvonalából, és a lakosság kétharmada számol azzal, hogy az árak a következő 12 hónapban is emelkednek majd.
Az aggodalom az inflációtól leginkább az alacsony jövedelműek körében jellemző. Ugyanakkor a drágulás jóval szélesebb körben jár változásokkal – állapította meg a McKinsey felmérése, amely szerint a német fogyasztók kétharmada már elkezdte megváltoztatni vásárlási szokásait, például az olcsóbb, sajátmárkás termékekből választ, vagy gyakrabban vásárol szupermarket helyett diszkont élelmiszerboltban.
A megkérdezettek több, mint fele arról is beszámolt, hogy tudatosabbá vált az otthoni energiafogyasztása.
A McKinsey adatai szerint az infláció közvetlen hatásai közé tartozik az is, hogy a német lakosság kétharmada az utóbbi időben kénytelen volt több pénzt költeni élelmiszerre, majdnem kétharmada – 61 százaléka – pedig közlekedésre és energiára is több pénzt adott ki. A költségek növekedését más kiadások lefaragásával igyekeznek ellensúlyozni, erről a megkérdezettek egyharmada számolt be. Főleg kozmetikumokra, ruházatra, szórakozásra és utazásra költenek kevesebbet.
Németországban a szövetségi statisztikai hivatal (Destatis) legutóbbi, áprilisi adatai szerint a fogyasztói árak éves szintű emelkedésének üteme 7,4 százalékra emelkedett az előző havi 7,3 százalékról. Ez azt jelenti, hogy negyvenegy éve, 1981 óta a legmagasabbra emelkedett az infláció. Különösen az energiaárak emelkedtek jelentősen, ami a Destatis számításai szerint nagymértékben befolyásolja a magas inflációs rátát.
Az energiahordozók világpiaci árának robbanásszerű emelkedése miatt a német háztartásoknak az idén minden korábbinál többet kell fizetniük a fűtésért, az áramért és az üzemanyagért. A drágulás mértékét mutatja az is, hogy a benzin és a dízel ára az idén lépte át először a literenkénti 2 eurós határt, míg tavaly tavasszal 1,30-1,40 euró körül volt. Az autósok legnagyobb érdekvédelmi szervezete, az ADAC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club) autóklub legutóbbi, pénteki jelentése szerint a dízelért átlagosan 2,029 eurót, a benzinért 2,030 eurót kell fizetni literenként.

Törökország legnagyobb ellenzéki pártjának vezetője, Kemal Kilicdaroglu szerdán késő este kijelentette, hogy nem fogja kifizetni az áramszámláit, amíg Recep Tayyip Erdogan elnök vissza nem vonja a közelmúltban végrehajtott áremeléseket, miközben országszerte az infláció növekedése miatti elégedetlenség jelei mutatkoztak – írja a Reuters.
Januárban mintegy 50 százalékot ugrott az infláció Törökországban, ennek oka pedig a líra 2021 végi földbe állása volt, amit elsősorban Erdogan alacsony kamatláb-politikája okozott. A következmény pedig a megélhetési költségek nagyfokú növekedése lett, ami igen érzékenyen érintette a lakosságot.
A kormány ugyan 50 százalékkal növelte a minimálbért, de ezzel egyidejűleg megemelte az üzemanyag, az áram és az útdíjak árát is. Január elején a villamos energia ára 125 százalékkal növekedett a vállalati felhasználók és 50 százalékkal a lakosság körében. Ezért jelentette be Kilicdaroglu, hogy nem hajlandó egészen addig villanyszámlát fizetni, amíg Erdogan elnök vissza nem vonja az áremelést tartalmazó rendeletét.
