 A Magyar Távirati Iroda értesülései szerint Julija Mendel visszaemlékezéseinek jogait a Jeff Wachtel által a közelmúltban alapított Future Shack Entertainment szerezte meg.
 Az ukrán újságíró Zelenszkij 2019. májusi beiktatása után csatlakozott az elnök stábjához sajtótitkárként, és 2021 júliusáig töltötte be a posztot. The Fight of Our Lives: My Time with Zelensky, Ukraine’s Battle for Democracy, and What It Means for the World (Életünk harca: Időm Zelenszkijjel, Ukrajna harca a demokráciáért és amit ez a világnak jelent) című memoárja szeptember 13-án jelent meg.
 A könyvben felidézi, hogyan vált Zelenszkij népszerű színészből elnökké. Beszámol a 2022-es orosz inváziót megelőző két év kulcsfontosságú eseményeiről, mások mellett a Zelenszkij és Vlagyimir Putyin orosz elnök közötti találkozókról, amelyeken ő is részt vett, és a Donald Trump amerikai elnök és Zelenszkij közötti telefonbeszélgetésekről is. Mendel, akinek vőlegénye a fronton harcol, Ukrajna háborús életéről is ír a könyvben.

Különösen akkor, amikor információról van szó.”
 
 Egyúttal Mendel felszólította az ukránokat, hogy tiszteljék egymást, s ami szerinte a legfontosabb, becsüljék saját magukat. A 24-es csatorna említett írásában arról van szó: álhír, hogy Mendel teherbe esett Zelenszkijtől – írta a hírportál.
