Az ukrán katonai lelkészeket Németországban képezték ki, ahol a NATO-szabványok szerint sajátították el a lelkészi funkciókat, etikát, tanácsadást és a NATO szabvány szerinti traumakezelést. A program gyakorlati feladatokat és tapasztalatcserét is lehetővé tett.
Az ukrán fegyveres erők katonai lelkészei az USA németországi kiképzőbázisán vettek részt egy tanfolyamon. A papokkal ismertették a kápláni funkciókat, a katonai etikát, a tanácsadás alapjait, a traumakezelést és a kápláni szolgálatot a NATO-országokban, számolt be az UNN az ukrán fegyveres erők Stratégiai Kommunikációs Központjára hivatkozva.
A program elméleti és gyakorlati feladatokat tartalmazott, valamint beszélgetéseket más országok káplánjainak részvételével.
Megjegyezték, hogy az ukrán káplánok megosztották partnereikkel tapasztalataikat a harci körülmények között végzett munkáról, valamint lehetőségük nyílt a kiképzésen lévő ukrán katonákkal dolgozni.

A Svéd Királyság Fegyveres Erőinek katonai oktatói a Nagy-Britanniában tartott kombinált alapkiképzés részeként erdős területen tartanak órákat ukrán katonáknak – közölte az Ukrinform az Ukrán Fegyveres Erők vezérkarára hivatkozva.
A közlemény szerint ez a képzés lehetővé teszi olyan harci készségek elsajátítását, amelyekkel a katonai gyakorlattal nem vagy minimálisan rendelkező katonák eredményesen elsajátíthatják az Ukrajna védelméhez szükséges taktikai ismereteket.
Josep Borrell uniós főképviselő még március 8-án Stockholmban, az EU-tagállamok védelmi minisztereinek informális találkozóját követően jelentette be, hogy az Európai Unió katonai missziója március végéig több mint 11 ezer, az év végéig pedig további 30 ezer ukrán katonát fog kiképezni. Az EU emellett 1 milliárd eurót kíván elkülöníteni az Európai Békefenntartási Eszközből annak érdekében, hogy Kijevnek sürgősen lőszereket szállítsanak.

Befejeződött az ukrán katonák második csoportjának kiképzése az Egyesült Királyságban – számolt be az Ukrajinszka Pravda.
Mint írták, az ukrán katonákat AS90 típusú, 155 milliméteres önjáró lövegekre képzik ki a britek. A programban több mint 1000 brit katonai személy biztosít kiképzést az ukrán fegyvereseknek.
A videón is láthatóAS90-ek átadását még a Challenger tankokkal együtt jelentették be a britek. A modern, pontos, páncélozott önjáró lövegekből összesen 30 darabot adnak át az ukránoknak.
