«Єврогрупа обрала Паскаля Доног’ю, міністра фінансів, бюджетних витрат та реформ Ірландії, президентом Єврогрупи, за умовами Протоколу 14 Угоди ЄС. Новий Президент приступить до обов’язків 13 липня 2020 року на термін у 2,5 роки. Перша зустріч Єврогрупи під головуванням Паскаля Доног’ю запланована на 11 вересня 2020 року», – йдеться у повідомленні.
Паскаль Доног’ю, який працює на посаді міністра фінансів Ірландії з червня 2017 року, змінить колишнього президента Єврогрупи португальця Маріо Сентено (Mário Centeno), повноваження якого завершуються 13 липня поточного року.
