A régi helikopterekért cserébe a cseh hadsereg új, UH-1Y Venom és AH-1Z Viper típusú helikoptereket kap az USA-tól.






Csernokova megjegyezte, hogy a Mi-24B helikopterek tökéletesen megbirkóznak a feladatokkal, és a vártnál is tovább szolgálnak.



 A Mi-24 egy szovjet támadó helikopter. Ez lett a szovjeteknél az első, a világon a második leghatékonyabb speciális harci helikopter. 1971-ben kezdték gyártani, és napjainkban is készülnek új darabok. A helikopter számos módosítással rendelkezik, és egy időben több országba szállították.
