Egészen elképesztő jelent tanúi lehettek a napokban a Swinton városából Manchesterbe tartó busz utasai, ugyanis egy férfi – kissé félreértelmezve a járvány miatti hatósági utasítást a maszk használatára – egy élő kígyót tekert körbe az arca előtt és azt viselte maszkként – derül ki a BBC beszámolójából.
Az esetről nyilatkozó helyi tömegközlekedési vállalat szóvivője közölte: a tömegközlekedésen – 11 éves kor felett – mindenkinek kötelező a maszk használata. Hozzátette, hogy bár a törvény nem írja elő, hogy kötelezően orvosi maszkot kell viselni, és engedélyezi, hogy saját készítésű maszkokat hordjanak az emberek, „a kígyóbőr használata már nem elfogadott, különösen ha az még hozzá van nőve az állathoz”.
