A jelentés szerint Zelenszkij jelezte, hogy Melitopol környékén járt. Ott meglátogatta a Petro Bolbocsan ezredesről elnevezett 3. műveleti dandárt. Ennek a katonai harci küldetésekben vettek részt Donyeck és Luhanszk körzetében, a Harkivért vívott védekező csatákban, valamint Harkiv melletti falvak és városok felszabadításában.
„Most a dandár katonái Zaporizzsja irányában folytatnak támadó hadműveleteket. A legproblémásabb kérdéseket tárgyaltuk meg a dandárparancsnokkal” – írta az elnök, aki
emellett meglátogatta az ukrán fegyveres erők légideszant erők 46. különálló légi mobil dandárjának emelt szintű parancsnoki állását. Ott köszönetet mondott a katonáknak Ukrajna védelméért Orihiv irányában.
„Katonáink igazi szabadságot tudnak biztosítani Ukrajnának. Köszönjük kitartásukat és az eredmény minden méterét!” – hangsúlyozta az államfő, aki a Zaporizzsja térségében tett látogatása során találkozott a 118. különálló gépesített dandárral is, amely Melitopol irányában folytat offenzívát. „Lépésről lépésre határozottan haladnak a szükséges eredmény felé” – írta a videó alá Volodimir Zelenszkij.

Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök hétfőn Donyeck megyébe látogatott, ahol a 22. külön gépesített dandárt kereste fel – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál az elnök Facebook-oldalára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint az államfő jelezte, hogy jelenleg 22. dandár lát el feladatokat a Szoledar hadműveleti-harcászati szint Adam taktikai csoportjában. Mint közölte, jelentéseket hallgatott meg a dandár feladatkörében kialakult hadműveleti helyzetről, a különféle fegyvernemek alkalmazásának sajátosságairól. „Megbeszéltük a dandárparancsnokkal a katonák előtt álló problémákat és a megoldási javaslatokat” – tette hozzá, megjegyezve, hogy személyesen szeretné meglátogatni az összes dandárt, hogy értesüljön mindegyik problémájáról.
Az elnök felkereste az 5. különálló rohamdandár parancsnoki pontját is, amely a Hortica hadműveleti-stratégiai csapatcsoport részeként harci feladatokat lát el Bahmut térségében. „Fontos témákat tárgyaltunk a dandárparancsnokkal: a dandár felelősségi körében a helyzetét, a védők kiképzését, a fegyverek és felszerelések szükségességét, problémás kérdéseket.”
Az államfő a 80. különálló légideszant rohamdandár katonáival is találkozott. A teljes körű invázió kezdete óta ennek a katonái a Hortica hadműveleti-stratégiai csoport részeként hajtanak végre harci feladatokat Izjum, Kupjanszk, Bahmut és Szeveronyoneck irányokban. „Köszönjük a hatalmas eredményeket, a harcokban tanúsított bátorságot és kitartást! Ukrajna büszke minden egyes katonájára” – mondta Volodimir Zelenszkij.

Olekszandr Szirszkij, az ukrán szárazföldi erők parancsnoka újabb látogatást tett a Donyeck megyei Bahmut és Liman városoknál szolgáló ukrán alakulatoknál.
„Meglátogattam dandárjainkat a harci cselekmények két aktív irányában. A Bahmutnál és Limannál kialakult heves harcok miatt szükség volt terveink módosítására, a parancsnokok meghallgatására, a kialakult helyzetről, a problémákról alkotott véleményük megismerésére és a megfelelő döntések meghozatalára. Fontosnak tartom, hogy megértsem, mire van szükségük a parancsnokoknak és a katonáknak közvetlenül a harctéren, és hol vannak jelenleg a legsúlyosabb helyzetben” – fogalmazott a parancsnok a Telegramon közzétett üzenetében.
Szirszkij közlése szerint kitüntetéseket és „értékes ajándékokat” adott át a katonáknak. Hangsúlyozta, hogy az ilyen találkozók után megerősödik a kölcsönös bizalom és a megértés, hogy van elmozdulás „a jó irányba, a győzelem felé”.
Az ukrán vezérkar reggeli harctéri jelentésében azt írta, hogy Bahmutnál az ukrán csapatok folytatják a támadó hadműveleteket a várostól északra és délre, Limannál azonban az orosz erők légicsapásokat és tüzérségi támadásokat indítottak.
Szirszkij többször tett már látogatást a Bahmutot a heves orosz támadásokkal szemben hosszú ideje védő ukrán csapatoknál, legutóbb a múlt hónap közepén járt a térségben.

Today is World Cancer Day. I visited Ukraine’s National Cancer Institute to support our young patients, their parents, and everyone fighting this terrible disease. They are all very strong, with a strong belief in our defenders and Ukraine.

The Vatican Secretary of State is received in Kyiv by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, to whom he conveys the Pope's solidarity and the Holy See's commitment to help find "a just and lasting peace".

A jelentés szerint a két katonai vezető atomerőműben tett látogatás során jelen volt Petro Kotin, az Enerhoatom Nemzeti Atomenergetikai Vállalat elnöke és Pavlo Kovtonyuk, a Rivnei Atomerőmű igazgatója is. Kidolgozták a hadsereg és az atomenergetikai ágazat közötti információcsere kérdései a Zaporizzsjai Atomerőművet érintő események lehetséges forgatókönyveinek elemzése, tervezése és előrejelzése céljából. A jelenlévők szoros együttműködésben állapodtak meg az egyes helyzetekre reagáló intézkedések idejében történő végrehajtása érdekében.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök múlt szombaton haditanácsot tartott a Rivnei Atomerőműben. Ezen elsősorban az atomerőművek biztonságáról esett szó.
Ugyancsak a közelmúltban Zelenszkij kijelentette, hogy az orosz megszállók terrortámadásra készülnek az irányításuk alatt lévő Zaporizzsjai Atomerőmű ellen, hogy sugárszennyezés kerüljön ki a környezetbe. Még korábban Kirilo Budanov, a katonai hírszerzés vezetője azt állította, hogy az oroszok aláaknázták az atomerőmű hűtőtavát.

The warriors of the 45th separate rifle battalion are absolutely heroic. It was an honor for me to visit the defenders in Ivano-Frankivsk who are undergoing treatment there and talk to them. It was an honor to receive a chevron and add it to the chevron board in my office.

Zelenszkij a Telegramon közölte, hogy meghallgatta Olekszij Nejizspapa, az ukrán haditengerészet parancsnokának beszámolóját a fekete-tengeri hadműveleti helyzetről, valamint a haditengerészet védelmi képességeiről és fejlesztési stratégiájáról a háború alatt és az azt követő időszakban. Megvitatták a haditengerészeti drónprogram és rakétaprogram időközi eredményeit és fejlesztési kilátásait is.

Rafael Grossi, a Nemzetközi Atomenergia-ügynökség (NAÜ) főigazgatója a Zaporizzsjai Atomerőmű területére látogatott, hogy megállapítsa, milyen hatással van a kahovkai gát összeomlása az atomerőmű hűtési teljesítményére.
Komolynak, ugyanakkor stabilnak tartja a Zaporizzsjai Atomerőműben kialakult helyzetet az Nemzetközi Atomenergia-ügynökség főigazgatója. Rafael Grossi a létesítménynél tett látogatása után beszélt erről, az aggodalmakat ugyanakkor fokozza a kahovkai gát lerombolása, mivel az erőmű hűtővíz-ellátása nem biztosított.
Az orosz–ukrán háborúban június 6-án hajnalban felrobbantották a Dnyeper folyón a Zaporizzsjai Atomerőműtől folyásirányban lefelé, légvonalban mintegy 120 kilométerre dél-nyugatra található kahovkai gátat. Ennek következtében jelentős árhullám vonult le a gáttól lefelé, valamint az esemény az erőműnél a vízszint drasztikus csökkenéséhez vezetett.
A térség az ukrán ellentámadások egyik fontos célpontja.
