Vktor Mikita elmondása szerint a felszerelést a megyei katonai közigazgatás és a térség minden járásából származó adományozók kezdeményezésére sikerült megszerezni és átadni. Megyénk vezetője megköszönte a járási adminisztrációknak a koordinációt és a támogatást.

A hírt az egyik fejlesztő, Hennagyij Szuljdin közölte.
Az alkalmazás egyelőre csak az Android-rendszerrel rendelkező okostelefonokon érhető el. Csupán annyi a teendő, ha valaki meglát egy ellenséges drónt vagy rakétát, belép az ePPO alkalmazásba, kiválasztja a fegyver típusát, majd ráirányítja a telefonját és megnyomja a piros gombot.

A rakétatámadások sújtotta ukrajnai városok lakóihoz intézte szerdán szavait Ferenc pápa, aki az erőszak leállítására és békés együttélésre szólított fel a Szent Péter téren tartott általános audiencián.
Ferenc pápa az általános meghallgatáson mondott beszéde legvégén kijelentette, hogy szívén viseli az ukrán nép sorsát, mindenekelőtt azokét, akiket a hétfői orosz bombázások érintettek.
„Magamban hordozom fájdalmukat” – mondta a katolikus egyházfő, aki Szűz Mária közbenjárását kérte az Úrhoz intézett ima meghallgatásában. Hangoztatta, hogy az Úr mindig meghallgatja az őt megszólító szegények hangját.
Ferenc pápa változást sürgetett azok szívében, akik „a háború szálait tartják kézben, annak érdekében, hogy leálljon az erőszak forgószele és újra lehessen építeni a békés együttélést igazságosságban”.
A szokás szerint a Szent Péter téren tartott szabadtéri audiencia a Brazília védőszentjeként ismert Madonna Aparecida ünnepnapjára esett: a téren többnyire Portugáliából érkező családok voltak. Ferenc pápa azt kérte a zarándokoktól, hogy a Szűz Máriához intézett ima a békéért is szóljon.
A pápa azt mondta, hogy a világot háborúk kínozzák. Szent XXIII. János pápa oltalmát kérte azok számára, akik a háborútól szenvednek.
Az egyházfő – a háború kirobbanása után egy hónappal – március 23-án Szűz Mária oltalmába ajánlotta Ukrajnát és Oroszországot. Legutolsó vasárnapi beszédében a megszokott teológiai tanítás helyett békefelhívást intézett a konfliktus minél előbbi leállítása érdekében.
A béke kiáltása címmel október 23. és 25. között a Szent Egyed közösség szervezésében nemzetközi béketalálkozót tartanak Rómában. Többek között felszólal Emmanuel Macron francia elnök is, valamint a világvallások vezető képviselői. Kedden a keresztény egyházak és közösségek képviselői Ferenc pápa vezetésével a Colosseumban tartanak közös békeimát, és intéznek felhívást a békéért.
