Viktor Mikita, a Kárpátaljai Megyei Katonai Adminisztráció vezetője sajtótájékoztatót tartott október 10-én régiónk biztonsági helyzetét illetően. Cáfolta a médiában megjelent információt, miszerint vidékünket is támadás érte a tegnapi tömeges ágyúzás során, s arra kérte a lakosságot, hogy ne essenek pánikba.
„Ukrajna szinte minden régiójába csapódott be rakéta a kritikus infrastruktúra épületeibe. Ami Kárpátalján illeti, itt nem voltak becsapódások. A helyzet stabil” – szögezte le.
Hozzátette azonban, hogy negatív tendencia figyelhető meg a megyében a légiriadó-jelzésekre való reagálást illetően.
„Az emberek az utcán tartózkodnak, vasútállomások, kritikus infrastruktúrához tartozó épületek és adminisztratív épületek közelében. Arra kérek mindenki, hogy amikor hallják a légiriadó-jelzést, vonuljanak óvóhelyre!” – mondta el.
A sajtótájékoztatón arról is beszéltek, hogy az Oktatási Minisztérium azt javasolja a megyei adminisztrációknak, hogy vezessenek be távoktatást az intézményekben október 14-ig.
„Tanácskozást tartottunk Szerhij Skarlet oktatási miniszterrel, melynek során mindenkit tájékoztattak arról, hogy az oktatási folyamatban részt vevők maximális biztonsága érdekében arra kérnek mindenkit, hogy fogadják el a távoktatással kapcsolatos javaslatot az óvodák, középiskolák, szakiskolák és felsőoktatási intézményeket illetően” – közölte Marjana Maruszinec, a megyei adminisztráció oktatási osztályának vezetője.
Ami az áramszolgáltatást illeti, Olekszandr Bilak, a Zakarpattyaoblenerho vezérigazgatója elmondta, hogy mindent megtesznek annak érdekében, hogy ne legyenek fennakadások. Arra kért mindenkit, hogy legyenek figyelemmel a jelenlegi helyzetre és korlátozzák az áramfogyasztást kijevi idő szerint 17 és 22 óra között.

„Az orosz hadsereg nem tud megbirkózni a háborúval zsoldosok nélkül” – mondta Gabidullin, az egyik volt zsoldosparancsnok. Ezt azzal magyarázta, hogy a „wagneresek” rendelkeznek harci tapasztalattal, tapasztaltabbak, mint a mozgósított állampolgárok.
A Wagner alkalmazottai akár 5000 dollárt is megkereshetnek havonta. Az ukrán védelmi minisztérium egyik magas beosztású forrása szerint bónuszokat is ajánlanak nekik az ukrán tankok vagy egységek megsemmisítéséért.
Az a tény, hogy a „wagnereseket” különféle frontvonalakon alkalmazzák, komoly logisztikai problémákhoz vezetett: a zsoldosok lőszerrel, élelemmel és támogatással való ellátása problémákba ütközött. A katonák panaszkodnak, a vezetőség pedig tapasztalatlan embereket, sőt, elítélteket is elkezdett felvenni soraiba.
