A brit belügyminisztérium csütörtökön ismertetett friss adatai szerint meghaladta a 3,3 milliót azoknak a külföldi EU-állampolgároknak a száma, akik tartós letelepedési engedélyért folyamodtak a brit hatóságokhoz, és több mint 3 millióan már megkapták a határidő nélküli tartózkodási jogosultságot – olvasható a Pesti Srácok honlapján. 







Nagy-Britannia január 31-én kilépett az Európai Unióból, de
azok az EU-polgárok, akik törvényesen és életvitelszerűen laknak az országban,
továbbra is maradhatnak megszerzett összes jogosultságuk megtartásával. Ehhez
azonban meghatározatlan időre szóló tartózkodási engedélyért – hivatalos
elnevezéssel letelepedett jogi státusért – kell folyamodniuk.



A londoni belügyminisztérium csütörtöki tájékoztatása
szerint ezt a 27 EU-tagország Nagy-Britanniában élő állampolgárai közül február
29-ig 3 343 700-an tették meg, és a múlt hónap utolsó napjáig 2 998 300-an meg
is kapták a tartós letelepedési engedélyt. A tárca közölte, hogy saját belső –
a statisztikában egyelőre nem szereplő – nyilvántartása szerint azóta
meghaladta a 3 milliót azoknak a száma, akik megkapták a letelepedett jogi
státust. A február 29-i állapotot mutató hivatalos lista élén – ugyanúgy, ahogy
az összes eddigi statisztikában – a lengyelek állnak 639 200 beadott
folyamodvánnyal. Őket a románok követik 543 200 benyújtott kérvénnyel.



A magyarok közül 94 ezren kértek tartós letelepedési
engedélyt a múlt hónap végéig.



A Nagy-Britanniában élő EU-állampolgároknak, akik úgy
döntöttek, hogy a brit EU-tagság megszűnése (Brexit) után is maradnak, a
letelepedett jogi státus megszerzéséhez személyazonosságukat kell hitelesen
igazolniuk és azt, hogy életvitelszerűen tartózkodnak az országban. Emellett be
kell jelenteniük, ha korábban elmarasztaló bírósági ítélet született ellenük
bűncselekmény miatt.



A brit belügyminisztérium csütörtöki kimutatása szerint a
hatóságok a február végéig  feldolgozott
kérelmek nagyon nagy többségét kedvezően bírálták el, a több mint 3 millió folyamodvány
közül mindössze 300-at utasítottak el, a legtöbbször nem megfelelően
bizonyított jogosultság vagy rosszul kitöltött kérvény miatt.



Az elbírált folyamodványok 58 százalékában a kérelmezők
végleges, az esetek 41 százalékában előzetes letelepedett státust kaptak. Ez
utóbbit azok a kérelmezők kaphatják, akik a benyújtás idején még nem töltöttek
el öt évet életvitelszerűen Nagy-Britanniában, de ők is megvárhatják az öt év
leteltét, és utána megkapják a végleges tartózkodási engedélyt. Az addig eltelő
időszakban őket is maradéktalanul megilletik eddig megszerzett jogosultságaik.



A brit EU-tagság január végi megszűnésével 11 hónapos
átmeneti időszak kezdődött, amely alatt nem változnak az uniós polgárokra
érvényes bevándorlási szabályok.



Így azok, akik ennek az időszaknak a lejártáig érkeznek az
Európai Unióból letelepedési szándékkal Nagy-Britanniába, ugyanolyan
jogosultsággal kérhetnek tartózkodási engedélyt, mint azok, akik már hosszabb
ideje Nagy-Britanniában élnek. Azok, akik december 31-én már Nagy-Britanniában
tartózkodnak, 2021. június 30-ig nyújthatják be a letelepedett státusra szóló
kérvényüket.



A jövő év első napjától azonban az EU-országokból és az
unión kívülről újonnan érkezőkre a brit kormány tervei szerint egységes
bevándorlási szabályozás lép életbe, amely – főleg a jelentkezők
szakképzettsége és angol nyelvtudása alapján – pontozásos kritériumrendszer
alapján bírálja majd el a letelepedési kérelmeket.

A brit kormány a közelmúltban a BBC-nek nyilatkozva kijelentette, hogy az EU-ból való kilépés után se számítsanak  automatikus kiutasításra a Nagy Britanniában  élő, dolgozó uniós állampolgárok. Még abban az esetben sem, ha nem jelentkeznek a regisztrációs rendszerben, amely megadja a tartózkodási engedélyt. Az igénylők száma mára meghaladja a 2,7 milliót, közel 2,5 millióan már megkapták az értesítést arról, hogy a Brexit után is élhetnek, dolgozhatnak Nagy Britanniában a Brexit után.  A jelentkezés határideje 2021. június 30.







Az Európai
Parlament Brexit-koordinátora, Guy Verhofstadt azt is elmondta, hogy a brit
kormány biztosította őt arról, hogy nem lesznek kitoloncolások. Verhofstadt
szerint azok, akik határidőn belül nem jelentkeznek a regisztrációs rendszerben,
utána is megtehetik, miután megindokolják a késedelem okát. „Nem lesz
automatikus kitoloncolás” – tette hozzá.
