A program tíz éves távlatban további kilenc célkitűzést tartalmaz, egyebek mellett egy saját űrhajós részvételét egy tudományos küldetésben, egy űrkikötő kiépítését más országokkal, valamint egy világszínvonalú műholdfejlesztési márka létrehozását. A török államfő nem részletezte, hogy Ankara miként tervezi elérni ezeket a célokat.
Mustafa Varank török ipari és technológiai miniszter szerdán az Anadolu török állami hírügynökségnek adott interjújában azt mondta, hogy az űrhajós, akinek a felkészítése csaknem két évet vesz igénybe, mintaképül szolgál majd a fiatalok és a gyermekek számára. Varank a Hold-misszióval kapcsolatban elárulta: Törökország jelenleg nem rendelkezik azzal a képességgel, hogy a 1,5-2 tonnás űrjárművét alacsony Föld körüli pályára állítsa, ezért nemzetközi együttműködéssel fogja ezt megvalósítani. Olyan céges megállapodás keretében lövik fel az űrjárművet, ahogy a műholdak esetében teszik – mutatott rá a tárcavezető, hozzátéve, hogy az űrjármű ezt követően be fogja indítani a török fejlesztésű motorját, és eljutva a Holdig leszáll az égitest felszínére.
A kedd este felvázolt terv egyik figyelemre méltó előzménye, hogy Erdogan január végén telefonon beszélt Elon Muskkal, a SpaceX amerikai űrkutatási magáncég vezérigazgatójával a török vállalatokkal való együttműködés lehetőségeiről.
Törökország 2018-ban alapította meg űrügynökségét.

A Földet szondázó műhold pályára állítását rendelte el Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök Ukrajna függetlenségének 30. évfordulója alkalmából – közölte Oleg Uruszkij miniszterelenök-helyettes, ipari miniszter kedden Facebook-oldalán, adta hírül az Ukrajinszka Pravda.
A kormányfő-helyettes közlése szerint a hétfői tanácskozáson Zelenszkij a műhold Föld körüli pályára állításával kapcsolatos előkészületek felgyorsítására utasított. Az államfő hangsúlyozta, minden szükséges intézkedést meg kell hozni, hogy a pályára állítás még 2021 – Ukrajna függetlenségének 30. éve – végéig megtörténjen. A Szics 2-30 (2-1) elnevezésű műhold a Földet szondázza majd a világűrből.
A műhold, sikeres Föld körüli pályára juttatása esetén, számos, a gazdaság és a bűnüldöző szervek számára fontos feladat megoldásához járul majd hozzá. Az űrszerkezet révén költségvetési pénzek takaríthatók meg, amelyekért jelenleg külföldről kell hasonló szolgáltatásokat megvásárolni.

A világ első fából készült műholdját akarják elkészíteni Japánban a Kiotói Egyetem tudósai egy helyi céggel az űrszemét csökkentése céljából. A különleges űreszközt 2023-ban akarják útjára indítani – adta hírül a BBC News.
A Sumitomo Forestry nevű vállalat közölte, hogy kutatásokat kezdett annak kiderítésére, miként nő a fa és miként használható a faanyag a világűrben. Az egyetem szakembereivel együttműködve először azt fogják tanulmányozni, hogy a különböző fafajták miként viselkednek szélsőséges körülmények között a Földön.
Az űrszemét egyre nagyobb problémát jelent, ahogyan egyre több műholdat bocsátanak fel a világűrbe. A Világgazdasági Fórum adatai szerint jelenleg mintegy hatezer műhold kering a Föld körül, ezek 60 százaléka már működésképtelen, azaz űrszemét. Számos darabjaira hullott szét, mintegy 20 ezer űrszemétről tudnak a szakemberek.
Egy fából készül műhold azonban a légkörbe visszatérve elégne anélkül, hogy káros anyagokat bocsátana ki vagy darabjai a Földre hullanának.
„Aggaszt minket az a tény, hogy a Föld légkörébe visszatérő műholdak elégnek és kicsiny alumínium részecskék a légkör felső rétegében éveken át lebegnek. Ez hatással van a Föld környezetére” – mondta Doi Takao japán űrhajós, a Kiotói Egyetem professzora, aki 2008-ban dolgozott a Nemzetközi Űrállomáson.
A fejlesztés következő lépése a műhold mérnökök által történő megtervezése lesz, majd el fogjuk készíteni az űreszközt – mondta Doi professzor.
Az Euroconsult cég becslése szerint következő évtizedben mintegy 990 műholdat fognak a világűrbe küldeni.

Bár a konteóhívők még világszerte az 5G-től tartanak, és még ennek a használata sem terjedt el széles körben, Kína már javában teszteli a hálózati technológia következő generációját. Ennek keretében Föld körüli pályára állították a világ első 6G műholdját – írja a BBC.
A 6G technológia tesztelésére szánt eszközt 12 másik műholddal együtt bocsátották fel a Sanhszi tartománybeli Tajjüanból, a Hosszú Menetelés-6 nevű hordozórakétával. Ebből 10 kereskedelmi műhold, amelyeket a Satellogic nevű argentin cég fejlesztett.
A 6G működéséhez szükséges nagy sebességű technológia mellett a mezőgazdasági termelés problémáit monitorozó, illetve az erdőtüzek megelőzésére szolgáló technológiát is Föld körüli pályára juttatott Kína a pénteki misszió során.

A floridai Kennedy Űrközpontból 60 újabb internet műholdat vitt az űrbe a SpaceX Falcon–9-es hordozórakétája. Nagyjából kilenc perccel a fellövés után a rakéta visszatérő első fokozata sikerrel landolt az Atlanti-óceánban, ahol a vállalat egyik hajója vette a fedélzetére. Az újrahasznosítható rakétának ez volt a hatodik ilyen sikeres visszatérése.
Az alacsony Föld körüli pályára állított internetszolgáltató műholdak a Starlink program részei. Elon Musk milliárdos tervei szerint sok ezer műholddal több milliárd ember számára teszi elérhetővé a világhálót, olyan helyre is eljuttatva a netet, ahol jelenleg technikailag megoldhatatlan a földi rendszer kiépítése.
A Starlink leendő szolgáltatásának árazása egyelőre nem ismert.

Az Amazon számára a döntéshozók engedélyezték, hogy az elkövetkező időszakban 3236 műholdat lőjenek fel a világűrbe. Ezek segítségével a lakosság számára biztosít majd internetet a vállalat.
Az Amazon is beszállt az űrversenybe: úgy tűnik, hogy Jeff Bezos és Elon Musk az űrben csapnak össze a lakossági internetszolgáltatás területén.
Az Amazon ennek érdekében létrehozta a Kuiper nevű vállalatot, amely első számú célja a műholdak gyártása és pályára állítása lesz.
Jelenleg ezen a területen a SpaceX-hez köthető Starlink-projekt a piacvezető, Elon Musk vállalata a következő években már akár 40 ezer műholddal is rendelkezhet majd.
A műholdas internet segítségével azt ígérik, hogy sokkal nagyobb lesz a sávszélesség és olyan helyeken is elérhető lesz az internet, ahol korábban erre nem.
A Business Insider beszámolója alapján, az Amazon a tervek szerint 10 milliárd dollárt fog első körben befektetni szatellit-vállalkozásába.

Az Anasis-II műhold helyi idő szerint hétfőn 17.30-kor indult el a Falcon 9-cel a Kennedy Űrközpontból, Floridából, és nem sokkal később sikeresen levált a hordozóról.
A DAPA hangsúlyozta, hogy ezzel Dél-Korea belépett azoknak az országoknak a szűk körébe, amelyek rendelkeznek kizárólag katonai célokat szolgáló távközlési műholddal. Dél-Koreával együtt immár 10 ilyen ország van a világon.

Sikeresen felbocsátott egy újabb kémműholdat Izrael – jelentette hétfőn a ynet, a Jediót Ahronót című újság honlapja.
A portál idézte az izraeli védelmi minisztérium közleményét, amely szerint az Ofek 16 nevű kémműhold Föld körüli pályára állt, és néhány órával útnak indítása után már megkezdte az adatok továbbítását. Az állami tulajdonban lévő Izraeli Légiipari Vállalat (Israel Aerospace Industries) mérnökei előbb tesztelik a műholdat, amely csak utána kezdi meg operatív tevékenységét.
Beni Ganz védelmi miniszter rendkívüli eredménynek nevezte a korszerű kémműhold kifejlesztését és sikeres röppályára állítását.
„A technológiai fölény és az hírszerzés képessége elengedhetetlen Izrael állam biztonsága szempontjából” – mondta Ganz.
Hozzátette, hogy Izrael azon 13 ország egyike, amely önállóan is képes műholdak felbocsátására. Izraelen kívül az Egyesült Államok, Oroszország, Kína, Franciaország, Olaszország, Egyesült Királyság, India, Japán, Dél-Korea mellett, Észak-Korea, Ukrajna és Irán rendelkezik ilyen képességekkel.
Izrael első, Ofek 1 nevű hírszerző műholdját 1988. szeptember 19-én lőtték fel, de akkor titokban tették ezt, hogy az ország térségbeli ellenségei nem értesüljenek az ország technológiai fejlettségéről. Legutóbb négy évvel ezelőtt, 2016. szeptember 13-án bocsátották fel az Ofek 11 kódjelű műholdat.

A SpaceX amerikai űrkutatási magánvállalat csökkenti műholdjainak fényességét, amely a tervezett „űrinternetjének” újabb 60 műholdját szerdán állította Föld körüli pályára.
A cég vezérigazgatója, Elon Musk a Twitteren írt arról, hogy a Starlink projekt műholdjainak túlzott fényességéért az űreszközök napelemeinek elhelyezkedése a felelős, de a vállalat most „korrigálja a dolgot”.
Az átállítás révén a műholdak kevésbé lesznek láthatóak a Földről – olvasható a BBC hírportálján.
A visszatükröződő napelemeken túl a műholdak egy része a jelenlegi keringési pályája miatt volt szembetűnőbb az elmúlt napokban. Ezek a műholdak a méretük és a Földhöz való közelségük miatt is különösen fényesek.
A SpaceX jelenleg egy olyan „napernyő” kifejlesztésén dolgozik, amely csökkenteni fogja a soron következő műholdak tükröződését.
A csillagászok szerint a műholdak láthatósága most még kevésbé jelent problémát számukra, ám ez változni fog a rendszer gyarapodásával és üzembehelyezésével.
A következő hónapokban a mesterséges égitestek a fedélzeti hajtóműveiket használva fognak kissé messzebb húzódni a Földtől, a Nap felé fordítva a napelemeiket. Ezáltal szabad szemmel ugyan kevésbé lesznek láthatóak, ám olyan mértékű fényszennyezést idézhetnek elő, amely jelentősen megnehezíti a csillagászok munkáját.
A szakemberek továbbá arra figyelmeztetnek, hogy az alacsony pályán mozgó űreszközök megszaporodásával növekszik az ütközések kockázata, aminek nyomán sérülhetnek a műszerek vagy a darabjaik le is hullhatnak a Földre.
Az amerikai űrkutatási hivatal (NASA) floridai űrközpontjából felbocsátott 60 műhold volt a hetedik szállítmány a Starlink program tavaly májusi kezdete óta, így ezzel együtt a SpaceX vállalat már 420 műholdat bocsátott fel a világűrbe.
A program távlati célja, hogy 2024-ig csaknem 12 ezer mesterséges holdat állítsanak pályára egy internetes kiszolgáló hálózat számára, amely a tervek szerint lefedi az internetre jelenleg még rá nem kapcsolt térségeket is.
