A 2020-ban alapított Orienspace tavaly került a tudományos magazinok címlapjaira, amikor is kiderült, hogy 65 millió dolláros állami finanszírozásban részesült, amely mellé az elmúlt hónapok során további 47 millió dolláros támogatást kaptak.
A vállalat célja, hogy 2023-ban útnak indítsa első rakétáját, a Gravity 1-et, ami egy folyékony hajtóanyaggal működő magfokozat, valamint egy egyszerűbb felépítésű, szilárd hajtóanyagú modul kombinációjából fog állni – írta a Space.com.
Az előzetes tervek szerint a 31 méter hosszú és közel 3 tonna tömegű egység alacsony Föld körüli pályára, vagyis LEO-ra történő feljuttatásra lesz alkalmas.
Nem állnak le a fejlesztések az első rakétánál, ugyanis 2024-ben és 2025-ben jönnek az újgenerációs modulok – a Gravity 2 és Gravity 3 hordozórakéták már 33 és 66 tonnányi hasznos terhet vihetnek ki az univerzumba.
Ez utóbbi egy újrafelhasználható rakéta lesz, ami kerozinnal és folyékony oxigénnel működhet majd, ezenfelül egy hárommagos változat megalkotásán is dolgoznak, ami hasonló módon funkcionálhat, mint a SpaceX Falcon 9 és Falcon Heavy űrszerkezetei.
Hajjang városában már működik egy űrrepülőtér, ahol tengerről történő indításokat bonyolítanak le, és még idén üzembe helyezhetnek egy hasonló, kifejezetten óceáni kilövésekre alkalmatos platformot, ahonnan a Gravity 1-et is fellőhetik.

A műholdak a viharban kizuhantak pályájukról. A geomágneses „viharokat” a napfelszín nagy erejű kitörései okozzák, ezek plazmát és mágneses mezőt lőnek ki, ami a Földet is elérheti.
Elon Musk amerikai milliárdos cége azt közölte, hogy a múlt héten fellőtt 49 szatellit közül akár 40-et is elérhetett a vihar. A műholdaknak a Starlink internetes projekt hálózatához kellett volna csatlakozniuk.
A Starlink projekt célja, hogy nagy sebességű internetet biztosítsanak műholdak ezrei segítségével. A rendszer viszonylag drága, de ott ad hozzáférést, ahol kábeles kapcsolat nem lehetséges. Jó példa erre, hogy amikor a Tongát sújtó januári földrengés és szökőár elvágta a sziget tenger alatti adatkábelét, a közeli Fidzsin építettek Starlink-állomást, hogy az internet újra elérhető legyen.
A legutóbbi 49 műholdat a Föld felszínétől mintegy 210 kilométerre állították pályára. A február 3-i fellövés után mindegyik műhold kontrollált repülést ért el. Egy nappal később azonban geomágneses vihar csapott le a Földre. A vihar felmelegítette az atmoszférát, amely a vártnál sűrűbbé vált. „A fedélzeti GPS szerint a vihar eszkalációs sebessége és súlyossága miatt a légkör ellenállása 50 százalékkal nagyobb lett, mint a korábbi műholdfellövéseknél” – közölte a SpaceX.
Megpróbálták biztonsági üzemmódba helyezni a műholdakat, hogy a légellenállást minimalizálják, azonban a légellenállás elég erős volt ahhoz, hogy a szatellitek ne tudjanak kilépni a biztonságos üzemmódból és visszatérni a Föld körüli pályára, amelyet el kellett volna érniük a stabilitás érdekében. Ehelyett akár 40 műhold is visszaeshet a Föld légkörébe és eléghet.
A szakemberek nem számítanak arra, hogy bármelyik is becsapódna a Földbe.

Miután csillagászok felfedezték, hogy a SpaceX egy elhagyott rakétafokozata március elején valószínűleg a Hold felszínére fog zuhanni, a történet számos érdekes kérdést vetett fel azzal kapcsolatban, hogy vajon jogszerű-e a megdicsőült űrszemét ilyesfajta kukázása.
Egyes jogi szakértők szerint az űrszemét nem megfelelő lerakása okot adhat arra, hogy a SpaceX-et és Elon Muskot bepereljék, bár azt is hozzátették, hogy ebben nem látnak túl nagy realitást.
Fő indokként azt hozták fel, hogy Elon Musk nem birtokolja a Holdat, mint ahogyan egyetlen ország sem, viszont ha a SpaceX-rakéta eltévedt része például egy kínai holdjáróval ütközne, akkor elkerülhetetlen jogi problémákkal szembesülhetnének – írta a Forbes.
Az 1966-os világűrről szóló nemzetközi szerződés, valamint az űreszközök által okozott károkról szóló, 1972-es egyezmény alapján az országok jogi vitákat kezdeményezhetnek abban az esetben, ha űrszerkezeteik más űrügynökségek által meghibásodnak vagy sérüléseket szenvednek.
A szerződés hatályba lépése óta egyetlen felelősségre vonatkozó igény merült csak fel. 1978-ban egy szovjet műhold Kanada felett hullott darabjaira, melynek következtében radioaktív anyagot juttatott a légkörbe. A kanadai kormány a Szovjetunióval 3 millió dollárért rendezte az ügyet, bár korábban még 6 milliót követeltek, végül meg tudtak egyezni a kisebb kártérítési összegben.

A NASA repülésbiztonsági tanácsadó testülete (Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel – ASAP) nemrég tartotta virtuális ülését, ahol megvitatták az űrhivatal előtt álló biztonsági kihívásokat. Ennek során került szóba, hogy a NASA-val szorosan együttműködő SpaceX 2022-ben 52 rakétakilövéssel számol, ami még a tavalyi év történelmi rekordot jelentő 31 küldetéséhez képest is jelentős ugrás.
„A NASA-nak és a SpaceX-nek 2022-ben résen kell lenniük, hogy ne váljanak a saját sikerük áldozatává. A SpaceX részéről egy ambiciózus 52 kilövéses nyilatkozatunk van az évre. Ez pedig hihetetlen tempó”.”
– intett óvatosságra Sandy Magnus egykori űrhajós, a biztonsági testület tagja. A SpaceX leterheltsége mindenesetre bizonyítja, hogy komoly létjogosultsága van a kereskedelmi célú űrhajózásnak. A Starlink-hálózat kiépítése mellett a vállalat szállítja az amerikai asztronautákat és felszereléseket a Nemzetközi Űrállomásra, illetve rendszeresen juttat fel műholdakat privát- és nemzetközi partnerek, valamint az Egyesült Államok Védelmi Minisztériuma részére is.
A SpaceX emellett aktív közreműködő a Holdra szállást célzó Artemis-programban is, ami miatt a másik, saját űrcéget gründoló amerikai milliárdos, Jeff Bezos össze is akasztotta a nem létező bajszát a NASA-val.
Nem árt azonban megjegyezni, hogy az 52 betervezett kilövés még nem garantálja, hogy valóban sor is kerül az összesre, hiszen számtalan probléma jöhet közbe a műszaki hibáktól az időjárási nehézségekig. 2021-re például 48 küldetéssel számoltak Muskék, amitől végül 17-tel maradt el a végső mennyiség, vagyis az előzetesen tervezett felbocsátások 35%-a nem valósult meg.

Elstartolt egy újabb misszió a Crew Dragon Endurance űrhajón, a modul fedélzetén tartózkodó négy asztronauta a Nemzetközi Űrállomásra tart.
Elon Musk milliárdos vállalata, a SpaceX által fejlesztett űrhajót Föld körüli pályára állító Falcon 9 hordozórakéta helyi idő szerint este 9.04-kor startolt a Florida keleti partvidékén lévő űrközpontból. A hordozórakéta gyorsító fokozata – amelyet már használtak korábbi missziókban – kilenc perccel a start után tért vissza a Földre, az Atlanti-óceánon horgonyzó platformon landolt függőleges helyzetben.
A felbocsátást élőben közvetítette a Youtube videómegosztó portálon az amerikai űrkutatási hivatal (NASA). A Crew Dragon körülbelül 22 óra múlva csatlakozik a négyszáz kilométeres magasságban keringő űrállomáshoz, amely fedélzetén jelenleg két orosz és egy amerikai űrhajós van.
Az űrhajó fedélzetén három amerikai – Raja Chari, Kayla Barron és Tom Marshburn – asztronauta van, illetve a német Matthias Maurer, aki az Európai Űrügynökség (ESA) űrhajósa, és sorrendben a 600., aki feljutott az űrbe.
Egyikőjük úgy lett tagja a legénységnek, hogy a múlt héten meg nem nevezett egészségügyi okokból vissza kellett lépnie egy űrhajósnak, akinek a nevét ugyancsak nem hozta nyilvánosságra a NASA. Mind a négyen körülbelül hat hónapot töltenek majd az ISS-en.
A Crew Dragon most harmadszor szállított űrhajósokat az űrállomásra, előtte amerikai űrhajósokat orosz űrhajókkal juttatták fel az űrbe kilenc éven át, azóta, hogy 2011-ben véget ért az űrsiklóprogram. Az előző űrmisszió kedden zárult, a Crew Dragon Endeavour űrhajó leszállóegységével négy asztronauta tért vissza a Földre.

Magyar idő szerint csütörtökön éjjel 2 óra 2 perckor indították a SapceX első magánszemélyekből álló küldetését. Ahogy az indítás, úgy az érkezés is sikeresen zajlott. Ma, hajnali 1 óra 7 perckor 4 ejtőernyő segítségével a Mexikói-öbölbe érkezett vissza a Crew Dragon.

Elon Musk álma megvalósult, és elindult az űrbe a kizárólag civilekkel a fedélzetén lévő SpaceX, amelynek legénysége 200 millió dollárt fizetett az élményért cserébe.
Ez az első, Föld körüli pályára tartó, kizárólag civil legénységgel rendelkező űrhajó, ami a SpaceX nevet kapta. Florida államból indult útjára a szerkezet, ami egyúttal egy új korszakot is nyitott az űrturisztikai üzletágban – írja az Al Jazeera.
A Cape Canaveral-i Kennedy Űrközpontból indultak útjukra a civilek, akik közül Jared Isaacman milliárdos a legismertebb név, egy e-kereskedelmi vezető, mellette három általa kiválasztott kevésbé tehetős személlyel.
A 38 éves Isaacman, az 51 éves Sian Proctor, a 29 éves Hayley Arceneaux, és a 42 éves Chris Sembroski kapott lehetőséget arra, hogy megtegyék a nagy utat. Természetesen mindenki a lehető legmodernebb űrruhát kapta az utazásra, amelynek fő eszköze egy hosszú éveken át tervezett kapszula.

A küldetés részeként 575 kilométer magasan fognak keringeni a Föld körül, amelyre 1972 óta nem volt példa, amikor a NASA Apollo Hold-programját befejezték. Ez a távolság a Nemzetközi Űrállomáshoz, vagy a Hubble Űrteleszkóphoz képest is nagyobb.
Nagyjából a hangsebesség 22 szeresével fognak haladni odafent, ami 27 360 kilométer/órát jelent, miközben 90 percenként kerülik meg a Földet. A legénység semmilyen szerepet nem vállal az űrhajó irányításában, azt a földi csapatok kezelik az irányítórendszerek segítségével.

A milliárdosok űrrel kapcsolatos vállalkozásai közül némileg kilóg a SpaceX, mely eddig nem turistákat szállított, hanem a NASA munkatársait segítette a Nemzetközi Űrállomás (ISS) elérésében. A Yahoo News szerint azonban ez szerdán megváltozik, ugyanis az Inspiration4 misszió négy civilt szállít majd az űrbe.
Az utat a 38 éves milliárdos, Jared Isaacman fizeti, aki a kapitány is lesz az út során, hiszen veterán pilóta. A „kirándulás” ára nem nyilvános, ám a hírek szerint több tízmillió dollár lehet. A SpaceX által kínált utazás azonban jóval nagyobb lélegzetű, mint a Blue Origin és a Virgin Galactic által szervezettek, melyek csupán az űr szélét érték el pár percre, szemben az ISS-en túlig emelkedő, a Föld körül 3 napig keringő küldetéssel.
A csapat hónapokig tartó tréning után indulhat az útnak, mely során a legénység alvását, szívverését, vérét és kognitív képességeit is folyamatosan figyelni fogják, hogy a későbbi utazásokhoz adatokat gyűjtsenek.
