A jelentés szerint Musk azt írta: „nagy különbség van a civil kommunikáció és a frontvonalbeli kommunikáció között. A Starlink az egyetlen kommunikációs rendszer, amely még mindig működik a fronton, a többi már döglött. Oroszország aktívan próbálja megölni a Starlinket. A SpaceX a megóvása érdekében hatalmas erőforrásokat fordított a védelemre. De még ebben az esetben is meghalhat a Starlink.”

A milliárdos vállalkozó azt is kifogásolta, hogy a Starlink műholdas kommunikáció Ukrajnában havonta 20 millió dollárba kerül a cégnek. „A terminálok mellett műholdakat és földi állomásokat kell építenünk, indítanunk, karbantartanunk és feltöltenünk, valamint fizetnünk kell a távközlési szolgáltatóknak az átjárókon keresztüli internet-hozzáférésért. Védekezni kell az egyre terjedő kibertámadások és zavarások ellen is” – mutatott rá Elon Musk.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy korábban azt írta, hogy a SpaceX felszólította a Pentagont, hogy finanszírozza a Starlink havi szolgáltatásait Ukrajnában. Felhívásában a cég leszögezte, hogy „további terminálokat nem adományozhat Ukrajnának, és nem finanszírozhatja meghatározatlan ideig a meglévő terminálokat”.

Az IRIS-T szupermodern légvédelmi rakétarendszer, amit Ukrajna Németországtól kapott, már használatban van a déli fronton – jelentette be pénteken Jurij Ihnat, az ukrán fegyveres erők légierő-parancsnokságának sajtószóvivője egy televíziós műsorban, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
A tudósítás szerint Ihnat az ukrán televízió non-stop háborús adásának nyilatkozva elmondta, hogy az IRIS-T német légvédelmi rakétarendszer még sehol másutt nincs a világon, sőt még a német hadseregben sincs rendszeresítve. „És ez a fegyverrendszert már használják az ukrán fegyveres erők valahol a déli fronton” – tette hozzá.
A sajtószóvivő azt is megjegyezte, hogy Németországnak most már érdekeltnek kell lennie új, hasonló légvédelmi rendszerek létrehozásában. „Az IRIS-T egy jó rendszer. Bár nem nagy hatótávolságú, de nagyon ígéretes, és ugyanabban az információs mezőben tud működni, mint más ilyen rendszerek, mint például a NASAMS vagy a Patriot” – mutatott rá. Egyúttal emlékeztetett a NASAMS komplexumokra is, amelyeket hamarosan meg kell kapnia az ukrán hadseregnek. „Ezt a komplexumot talán könnyebb lesz Ukrajnába szállítani, mert rendelkezésre állnak, és a hozzájuk tartozó rakéták elegendő mennyiségben megtalálhatók az USA-ban” – jelezte Jurij Ihnat.

Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök két nap után szombaton ismét összehívta a hadvezetés soros ülését, amelyen a legfőbb főparancsnokot a front helyzetéről és az ideiglenesen megszállt területek felszabadításának menetéről tájékoztatták – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál az Elnöki Hivatal Sajtószolgálatára hivatkozva.
A közlemény szerint a tanácskozás résztvevői mindenekelőtt a hadműveleti csoportok parancsnokainak beszámolóit hallgatták meg az ukrán fegyveres erőknek az ideiglenesen megszállt ukrán területek felszabadítására irányuló aktív műveleteiről. Az eredmények alapján megfelelő döntések születtek, különösen a felszabadult települések biztonságát illetően – áll a nyilatkozatban.
Az Elnöki Hivatal azt is közölte, hogy a tanácskozáson jelen volt Olekszij Danilov, a Nemzetbiztonsági és Védelmi Tanács (RNBO) titkára, Olekszej Reznyikov védelmi miniszter és helyettese, Rosztiszlav Zamlinszkij, Valerij Zaluzsnyij, az ukrán fegyveres erők főparancsnoka, Szerhij Saptala, az ukrán fegyveres erők vezérkari főnöke, Jurij Lebegy, a Nemzeti Gárda parancsnoka, Denisz Monasztirszkij belügyminiszter, Olekszandr Kubrakov infrastrukturális miniszter, valamint Roman Masovec, az Elnöki Hivatal helyettes vezetője.
A haditanácshoz videókapcsolatban csatlakozott Kirill Budanov, a Hírszerzési Főigazgatóság vezetője, Olekszandr Szirszkij, az Ukrán Fegyveres Erők szárazföldi erőinek parancsnoka, Szerhij Litvinov, a Nyugati Hadműveleti Parancsnokság parancsnoka és a Déli Hadműveleti Parancsnokság parancsnoka.
A konferencia résztvevői külön figyelmet fordítottak az Ukrajna Védelmi Kapcsolattartó Csoport 5. Ramstein formátumú ülésének eredményeire, amely előző nap véget ért. A fronton kialakult helyzetre való tekintettel sürgetővé vált a nyugati partnerekkel való együttműködés közép- és hosszú távú biztosítása. A tanácskozáson mérlegelték az ukrán hadsereg logisztikai támogatásával kapcsolatban kialakult helyzetet, és meghatározták az ukrán fegyveres erők sürgős igényeit.
