A 2022-es függetlenség napját Ukrajnában ünnepségek nélkül és számos megyében további korlátozásokkal tartják meg, aminek az oka az Oroszország által kirobbantott teljes körű háború és a megszállók rakétacsapásainak veszélye – számolt be hétfőn az rbc.ua hírportál.
A kiadvány szerint Kijevben egyelőre nincs információ a kijárási tilalom időpontjának módosításáról a függetlenség napján. Néhány korlátozás azonban továbbra is érvényes. Elsősorban a tömegrendezvények tilosak a fővárosban. Ezen túlmenően, a kormányzati negyed dolgozóit ezen a héten távmunkára kérik. Az ünnepnapokon a kijevi metró csökkenti a munkát, így augusztus 21-től 24-ig a földalatti 6:00 és 21:00 óra között közlekedik.
Harkivban és térségében augusztus 22-től módosul a kijárási tilalom, amely 19:00 órakor kezdődik és másnap reggel 7:00 óráig tart. Ezenkívül a függetlenség napján hosszú kijárási tilalmat hirdettek augusztus 23-án 19:00 órától augusztus 25-én 07:00 óráig. A jelzett időben az utcán tartózkodni tilos.
Mikolajiv a tervek szerint nem „zár be” az ünnepekre, de bizonyos korlátozásokat továbbra is bevezetnek. Mint Vitalij Kim, a megyei katonai adminisztráció vezetője közölte, a napokban kiadják a távmunkára vonatkozó rendeletet. „Nem tartunk olyan rendezvényeket, ahol tömeges összejövetel lesz, a magam nevében kérem, ne gyülekezzenek” – mondta.
Vjacseszlav Csausz, a Csernyihiv Megyei Katonai Adminisztráció vezetője azt mondta, hogy jelenleg nem tervezik további intézkedések bevezetését a Csernyihivből való kilépés vagy oda történő belépés korlátozására.
Dnyipróban sem tervezi egyelőre a kijárási tilalom bevezetését a függetlenség napján. Korábban a médiában megjelentek korlátozásokról szóló információk, de a megyei katonai adminisztráció ezt cáfolta.
Mint a hírportál emlékeztetett rá, Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök vasárnap esti videoüzenetében kijelentette, hogy ezen a héten Oroszország megpróbálhat valamilyen különösen csúnya és kegyetlen dolgot tenni Ukrajna ellen.

Az amerikai védelmi minisztérium a lehető legmagasabbra értékelte az ukrán fegyveres erők hatékonyságát az Oroszország elleni háborúban: 12 pontra a 10-ből.
Ezt a Pentagon egy meg nem nevezett képviselője jelentette be az újságíróknak egy augusztus 12-i sajtótájékoztatón.
Elmondta, ha a fegyveres erők hatékonyságát egy 0-tól 10-ig terjedő skálán értékelnék, akkor az ukrán hadseregnek mind a 12 pontot meg kellene kapnia.
„Olyan dolgok kivitelezését oldották meg, ami számunkra lehetetlennek tűnt” – jelentette ki.
Hozzátette azt is, hogy az Egyesült Államok nem adott át olyan fegyvereket Ukrajnának, amelyekkel csapást lehetne mérni az Oroszország által megszállt Krímre, ahol a megszállók legalább kilenc katonai repülőgépet veszítettek el egy robbanás következtében.

Ukrajnában közvélemény-kutatást készítettek az állampolgárok hozzáállásáról a fegyveres erők és az államfő döntéseivel kapcsolatban, és azt is megkérdezték, hisznek-e a területek visszaszerzésében.
A kutatást a Rejting szociológiai csoport végezte.
A felmérés eredményei szerint a válaszadók 98%-a úgy gondolja, hogy Ukrajna nyeri meg a háborút. A válaszadók mindössze 1%-a válaszolta úgy, hogy nem hisz a győzelemben, további 1%-uk pedig bizonytalan.
A válaszadók 59%-a azt válaszolta, hogy határozottan támogatja Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök döntéseit. Az államfő lépéseit támogató válaszadók száma összesen 91%. A válaszadók mindössze 2%-a helyteleníti határozottan Zelenszkij tevékenységét.
Az ukrán fegyveres erők tevékenységét az ukránok 98%-a helyesli. Az ukránok támogatják az ország NATO-tagságát is. Az ukránok 72%-a helyesli a Szövetséghez való csatlakozást.
A válaszadók 64 százaléka úgy gondolja, hogy Ukrajna visszaszerzi az 1991-ben nemzetközileg elismert határokat, 14 százalék pedig úgy véli, hogy a 2022. február 24. előtt ellenőrzése alatt lévő területeket szerzi vissza.

A dán Védelmi Minisztérium bejelentette, hogy csatlakozik az Egyesült Királyság által vezetett kezdeményezéshez az ukrán hadsereg kiképzésére.
A hírt a Jevropejszka közölte a dán Védelmi Minisztériumra hivatkozva.
„Ukrajnának továbbra is támogatásra van szüksége az orosz invázió elleni küzdelemben, ezért Dánia fokozza a segítséget a katonai kiképzés területén” – olvasható a közleményben.
Az ország 130 dán katonát küld a képzésre, ezenkívül azt tervezi, hogy Dániában is tart kiképzést ukrán katonáknak.
