Kirilo Budanov, a Védelmi Minisztérium hírszerzési főosztályának vezetője abban bízik, hogy az ukrán csapatok valamikor képesek lesznek áttörni Mariupol blokádját, szerinte a város továbbra is kitart, és nem hódol be a megszállónak – adta hírül hétfőn az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Budanov a Der Spiegel című német lapnak nyilatkozva azt mondta: „Mariupol népünk és katonáink hősiességének emlékműve, követendő példa. A város eleséséről régóta beszélnek.”
A tábornok szerint az oroszok először azt állították, hogy már elfoglalták a várost, majd azt mondták, hogy az elfoglalás elkerülhetetlen. De mint mindenki láthatja, Mariupol tartja magát és tartani fogja magát – tette hozzá.
Budanov meggyőződésének adva hangot kijelentette: „és valamikor képesek leszünk megtörni a blokádot.” Hangsúlyozta ugyanakkor, hogy nem bölcs dolog tagadni, hogy Oroszország hatalmas erőforrásokkal rendelkezik, amelyek hosszú ideig lehetővé teszik számára a háború folytatását.

Elmondásuk szerint már meghaladta a 10 ezer főt az önkéntes tűzoltók száma, akik a Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálatának (DSZNSZ) honlapján regisztráltak. A háború február 24-i kitörése óta legalább 11,7 millió állampolgár kényszerült elhagyni otthonát, ebből 4,8 millióan hagyták el az országot –adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál vasárnap az Egyesült Nemzetek Menekültügyi Főbiztosságára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a legtöbb ukrán menekülő Lengyelországba érkezett. Ebbe az országba több mint 2,7 millióan távoztak. Több mint 700 ezren érkeztek Romániába, 454 ezren Magyarországra, 421 ezren Moldovába, 332 ezren Szlovákiába.
Emellett több mint 484 000 ukrán távozott Oroszországba, és mintegy 22 000 állampolgár Fehéroroszországba. A Moldovába vagy a szomszédos uniós országokba érkező menekültek egy része más országokba utazik tovább. Az ukránokat Németországban, Franciaországban, Olaszországban, a Cseh Köztársaságban, Portugáliában és más EU-országokban, valamint az Egyesült Királyságban fogadják.

A Belgiumba érkező ukrán menekültek többek között tartózkodási engedélyre, megélhetési támogatásra és orvosi ellátásra jogosultak, azonban a hosszadalmas bürokratikus eljárások megnehezítik a beilleszkedési folyamatot – írta a The BrusselsTimes belga hírportál.
A hírportál a VRT televízió riportjára hivatkozva azt írta, hogy az Oroszország által indított háború elől menekülő ukránokat befogadó családok arra panaszkodtak, a hatóságok „rendkívül lassan kezelik” a menekültdossziékat, ami pénzügyileg hátrányos helyzetbe hozza a kérelmezőket.
Egy Vaszil nevű ukrán menekült azt nyilatkozta a tévéműsornak, hogy akár 3 hónapig is eltarthat, hogy megkapják a szükséges dokumentumokat. Hozzátette, hogy a fővárosban, Brüsszelben, ő és partnere már szembesült a szigorú belga bürokráciával és a kerületi hivatalnokok „packázásaival”, de más településeken sokkal rosszabb a helyzet.
Véleménye szerint igen nehéz a helyzete azon ukrán menekülteknek, akik a flamand régióban fekvő Antwerpenbe érkeznek.
„Egy, a családjával Antwerpenben tartózkodó menekült június elejére kapott időpontot a bevándorlási hivataltól, egészen addig nem kap anyagi segítséget, nem vállalhat munkát, nem nyithat bankszámlát. Világos, hogy olyan feltételeket akarnak teremteni, hogy az embereknek elegük legyen, és elhagyják az országot vagy a várost” – tette hozzá.
Antwerpen közigazgatásának az elmúlt hetekben mintegy 3000 ukrán menekült aktáját kellett feldolgoznia, ami különösen nehéz feladatnak bizonyult – írta a Dutchnews. A VRT műsorában megszólaltatott menekült családok megkérdőjelezték a városvezetés felkészültségét a menekültek befogadására.
Az állításokra reagálva Bart De Wever, Antwerpen polgármestere elismerte, hogy voltak adminisztratív problémák, de hangsúlyozta, hogy „3000 menekültet nem könnyű kezelni”. Visszautasította azt a kritikát, hogy a város nincs felkészülve, és ehelyett a „káoszért” a szövetségi kormányt tette felelőssé, amely szerinte minden terhet a városokra és községekre hárított. Hozzátette azonban, hogy a következő napokban „a legsürgetőbb problémákat megoldják”, és minden érintettel felveszik a kapcsolatot, hogy digitálisan küldjék el dokumentumaikat a hatóságoknak.
