Fényeslitkéről érkezett segélyszállítmány Ungvárra. A járművek ivóvizet, kávét, almalét, takarókat, plédeket, higiéniai termékeket, gyermekétkeztetési termékeket, pelenkát, kötszereket, fecskendőket szállítottak a megyeszékhelyre.
Az ukrán–magyar határátkelőtől nem messze fekvő település lakosai önként gyűjtötték össze az adományt. A segélyszállítmány egy részét az ungvári sürgősségi ellátási központnak adták át, ehhez tartozik az összes rendelő. Az egészségügyi felszereléseket átadják a kárpátaljai katonák támogatásáért felelős csapatnak, a pelenkákat és gyermekétkeztetési eszközöket pedig a „Bagolyfészek” kulturális-történelmi központnak, ahol jelenleg a rászorulók ellátásával foglalkoznak.

Ingyenesen igénybe vehetik csütörtöktől a brit állami egészségügyi ellátórendszer (NHS) szolgáltatásait a Nagy-Britanniába érkező ukrajnai menekültek.
A brit egészségügyi minisztérium és a belügyi tárca csütörtök esti közös tájékoztatása szerint az ukrajnai orosz invázió elől menekülők azonnali hatállyal, térítésmentesen részesülhetnek kórházi, körzeti orvosi és sürgősségi ellátásban.
A Nagy-Britannia által befogadott ukrán menekültek mindemellett ingyen beadathatják maguknak a koronavírus elleni oltást és egészségügyi szűrővizsgálatokra is jelentkezhetnek.
A két minisztérium ismertetése szerint a brit kormány külön törvénytervezetet is benyújtott annak jogszabályi garantálására, hogy az ukrajnai menekültek, akik törvényesen érkeztek Nagy-Britanniába, ugyanolyan feltételekkel vehessék igénybe az NHS szolgáltatásait, mint bármely más, nagy-britanniai lakos.
Az intézkedés egyelőre hat hónapig érvényes, utána felülvizsgálják.
Az egészségügyi és a belügyi tárca csütörtök esti tájékoztatása szerint a brit kormány daganatos betegségben szenvedő ukrajnai gyerekek nagy-britanniai kezelését is lehetővé tette. Eddig 21, Ukrajnából evakuált gyermek onkológiai kezelése kezdődött meg angliai NHS-kórházakban.
A brit belügyminisztérium közölte azt is, hogy eddig több mint 150 ezren iratkoztak fel a Homes for Ukraine kormányzati kezdeményezésre, jelezve, hogy készek befogadni ukrajnai menekülteket.
A brit kormány által meghirdetett, e héten kezdődött program alapján az ukrajnai menekültek nagy-britanniai támogatókat kereshetnek az erre kialakított kormányzati honlapon.
A programhoz csatlakozó nagy-britanniai lakosok saját otthonukban vagy más lakóingatlanukban lakbér nélküli lakhatást biztosíthatnak az általuk kiválasztott és megnevezett menekülteknek – egyéneknek vagy családoknak – legalább hat hónapig terjedő időszakra.
A befogadó családok és a menekülők a honlapon vehetik fel egymással a kapcsolatot, és megállapodás esetén az ukrajnai vízumkérők a kérelem benyújtásához e befogadókat nevezhetik meg támogatóként.
A brit kormány az ukrajnai menekülteket befogadó brit családoknak havonta 350 font támogatást folyósít.
Azoknak a brit településeknek az önkormányzatai, amelyek ukrajnai menekülőket fogadnak be, menekültenként 10 500 font költségvetési támogatásban részesülnek.

Kárpátalja már több mint 200 ezer belső menekültet fogadott. A menekültek elszállásolásáról és külföldre történő szállításáról Petro Dobromiljszkij, a Kárpátaljai Megyei Katonai Adminisztráció (OVA) helyettes vezetője számolt be.
Elmondása szerint minden vonatállomáson informálják a menekülteket, hogy hová utazhatnak. Kárpátalja esetében elmondják nekik azt is, hogy ingyen elszállítják őket a megye határátkelőihez, amennyiben pedig itt szeretnének maradni, elszállásolják őket az erre kijelölt helyszínek egyikén.
Ungvár már nem tud fogadni több menekültet, ezért a Huszti, Beregszászi, Nagyszőlősi és Técsői járásokba szállítják őket. Eddig 80 ezer menekültet helyeztek el Kárpátalján, tervben van azonban, hogy további 15 ezer férőhelyet alakítanak ki a megyében.

Az ukrán határőrök orosz hadihajóhoz intézett legendás mondatát örökítette meg Kolodko Mihály ismert ungvári szobrász, legendás miniszobrok szerzője legfrissebb, Budapesten állított művében.
Kolodko Mihály Budapesten a Moszkva sétányon helyezte el az alkotását. A helyszínen készített fotókat a Kolodko Art Facebook-oldalán tette közzé. Művét a Zmijinij (Kígyó)-szigeti ukrán határőrök legendás mondatának szentelte. Mint a szobrász által közzétett fotókból is látszik, a szobor egy hadihajót ábrázol Putyin karikatúrájával.
A hajó egy középső ujjat megformáló oszlopra lett ráalkotva, ami a közismert non-verbális jelre utal.

Az Air Serbia a Turkish Airlineson kívül az egyetlen európai légitársaság, amely továbbra is indít járatokat Oroszországba. Naponta kettő, de három gép is repül az orosz fővárosba. A szerb gépek Magyarországon, Lengyelországon és Litvánián keresztül repülnek Oroszországba, mindössze három óra tíz perc alatt Moszkvába érnek.
A szerb sajtó viszont azt írja, az Air Serbia akkora veszteséggel dolgozott a járvány alatt, hogy a mostani forgalomnövekedés nem tud annyit hozni, hogy kihúzza a céget a gödörből.

Az ukrán–orosz háború miatt külföldön rekedt egyetemi hallgatókat az osztrák egyetemek, illetve a szövetségi kormány arról biztosította, hogy a kötelező tandíjat az oktatási minisztérium elengedi. Ez mintegy 2300 ukrán hallgatót érint Ausztriában.
Az ukrán–orosz konfliktus hatással volt az osztrák egyetemekre is, ugyanis az Európai Bizottság olyan szankciókat vezetett be, amelyek szerint a diszciplináris, tudományos kutatások területén határozatlan időre felfüggesztette az együttműködését Oroszországgal – írja a Der Standard.
Ehhez az is hozzátartozik, hogy Martin Polaschek (ÖVP) osztrák oktatási miniszter – korábban a Grazi Egyetem rektora – javaslata alapján az eddig meglévő szerződéseket is felfüggesztették, továbbá az orosz partnerekkel való együttműködések is szünetelnek, új szerződést nem kötnek, a projekteket pedig nem hagyják jóvá.
Mindez jól mutatja, hogy az osztrák szövetségi kormány mindent megtesz annak érdekében, hogy támogassa az Ausztriában élő ukrán diákokat – emelte ki a miniszter. Az Osztrák Egyetemi Konferencia nyilatkozatában biztosította a hallgatókat az egyetemek szolidaritásáról.
A Bécsi Egyetem az ukrán nép mellett áll a szabadságért és a demokráciáért folytatott küzdelemben – olvasható a Bécsi Egyetem honlapján.
Martin Polaschek elmondta: az Ausztriában élő ukrán hallgatók számára az aktuális nyári szemeszterben elengedik a tandíjukat az állami egyetemeken, illetve a tanárképző főiskolán, de további intézkedéseket is terveznek még.
Ausztriában ez körülbelül 2300 ukrán hallgatót érint, de többségük így is nehezen birkózik meg azzal a ténnyel, hogy hazájukban háború zajlik. Azonban a hallgatók többsége – írja a Der Standard – arról számol be, hogy nemcsak az osztrák állam, de a civil emberek is sokat segítenek nekik.
Az Osztrák Nemzeti Diákszövetség is pénzbeli támogatást nyújt az ukrán diákoknak. Tanácsadás mellett egy 500 ezer eurós elsősegélycsomagot is megszavaztak számukra – tette hozzá Sara Velić, az Osztrák Nemzeti Diákszövetség elnöke. Ez azt jelenti, hogy a tanulókat szociális helyzetétől függően 1000 euróig támogatják.
