Folytatódhat az ukrán fegyveres erők katonai kiképzése a Pentagon vezetésével Németországban, ahol jelenleg mintegy 500 ukrán katona ismerkedik és tanulmányozza az új technikai modelleket, valamint a harci taktikát, közölte Patrick Ryder tábornok, az amerikai védelmi minisztérium szóvivője tájékoztatóján.
„A kiképzés január közepén kezdődött” – jegyezte meg a tábornok, és pontosított, hogy időtartamuk hozzávetőlegesen hat hét, és amint befejeződnek, a kiképzett egységek visszatérnek Ukrajnába.
Ugyanakkor Ryder felvetette, hogy az alábbi kiképzési programot újabb ukrajnai egységekre is ki lehet terjeszteni.
„Fenntartjuk a lehetőséget a program folytatására, így ez nem egyszeri program. Ukrajna pedig döntést hoz arról, hogy további erőket küld ennek a ciklusnak a befejezésére” – jegyezte meg.
A tábornok azt is megjegyezte, hogy a Pentagon ezt ukrán részről várja el. „De végső soron ez az ő döntésük, amely meghozatalakor figyelembe veszik a helyszíneken kialakult helyzetet” – hangsúlyozta az amerikai védelmi minisztérium képviselője.

Az Egyesült Királyság a jövő héten megkezdi az ukrán katonák kiképzését az Ukrajnába küldött harckocsik használatára és karbantartására – jelentette be csütörtökön Alex Chalk brit politikus a Sky News információi szerint.
A brit kormány múlt hét elején közölte, hogy Challenger 2 harckocsikat és AS90 típusú nagy méretű önjáró lövegeket küld az ukrán hadseregnek. A Sky News szerint március végén küldik a harckocsikat.
Chalk emellett üdvözölte a német és az amerikai kormány bejelentését, miszerint harckocsikat küldenek Ukrajnába, és hozzátette: „Egységes elhatározásunk döntőnek bizonyulhat. 2023-ban elszántabbak leszünk, mint valaha. Támogatni fogjuk Ukrajnát, amíg csak szükséges.”

A Downing Street vasárnapi beszámolója szerint Nagy-Britannia már a következő napokban elkezdi ukrán katonák kiképzését a Challenger 2 harckocsik és az önjáró lövegek üzemeltetésére.
A londoni kormányfői hivatal szóvivője szerint ez is része annak a programnak, amelynek keretében több ezer ukrán katona kapott nagy-britanniai kiképzést az elmúlt hat hónapban.

Az amerikai Oklahoma állam egyik támaszpontján kapnak kiképzést ukrán katonák a Patriot légelhárító rendszerek kezeléséhez – közölte kedden Pat Ryder, a Pentagon szóvivője.
A kiképzés a jövő héttel veszi kezdetét a Fort Sill bázison 90-100 ukrán katona részvételével. Az amerikai védelmi tárca szerint ez az egy üteg üzemeltetéséhez szükséges állomány.
A kiképzés, amely rendszerint hosszabb időt igényelne, most csak néhány hónapig fog tartani. Ryder szerint felgyorsítják a folyamatot, hogy a katonák minél hamarabb visszatérhessenek a frontra.
Fort Sillben működik az amerikai hadsereg egyik tüzérségi iskolája és ott tartják a Patriot kezeléséhez szükséges alapkiképzést is. A közepes hatótávolságú rakétarendszer egyebek között repülőgépek, drónok, manőverező robotrepülőgépek és rakéták megsemmisitésére alkalmas. Washington decemberben újabb, mintegy kétmilliárd dolláros katonai segélycsomagot jelentett be Ukrajna számára, ezen belül az első Patriot-üteg leszállítását.

A hírt a Pentagon képviselője közölte – írja az RBK-Ukrajna.
„Ha az ukrán haderő kiképzésére irányuló nemzetközi erőfeszítéseket összességében nézzük, akkor körülbelül 12 ezer főre becsülném a kiképzésen részt vevők számát, beleértve azokat is, akik más országokban kollektív kiképzésen vettek részt” – mondta el Patrick S. Ryder.
Elmondása szerint néhány héten belül újabb kiképzés veszi kezdetét, melyen havonta körülbelül 500 ember fog részt venni.

Az Európai Unió katonai segítségnyújtási missziója (EUMAM Ukrajna) keretében képeznek ki ukrán katonákat Csehországban. A napokban ért véget az első csoport felkészítése, és jövőre négy csoportban mintegy 800 embert képeznek még ki.
A háromhetes kiképzést Olomoucban tartották, ahol a frissen besorozott, illetve már fronttapasztalattal rendelkező ukrán katonák alapvető hadi ismeretekre tanították meg, többek között gépkarabélyok, illetve gyalogsági harcjárművek kezelésére. Az egységet, amely hamarosan hazaindul, meglátogatta Jana Cernochová cseh védelmi miniszter is, aki biztosította a katonákat, hogy „Csehország mögöttük áll”.
Az ukrán katonák felkészítésében hamarosan litván kiképzők is részt vesznek, az erről szóló döntést pénteken egyhangúan jóváhagyta a vilniusi parlament. Az EU által szervezett programba Vilnius negyven, a nagy-britanniai NATO-tanfolyamra pedig huszonöt szakembert delegál.
Idén Litvániában tizennyolc különböző kiképző programban összesen mintegy ötszáz ukrán katona vett részt, többek között vegyi és biológiai fegyverekkel, sugárszennyezéssel, valamint a pilóta nélküli repülő szerkezetekkel, illetve hírszerzéssel foglalkozó oktatáson.

Bulgária bejelentette, készen áll arra, hogy a területén megszervezze az ukrán fegyveres erők katonaorvosainak képzését – közölte csütörtökön az rbc.ua hírportál a bolgár védelmi minisztérium sajtószolgálatára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint Bulgária részt vesz az Európai Unió ukrán katonai kiképzőmissziójában. „A cél az, hogy gyakorlatok és kiképzések lebonyolításával hozzájáruljunk az ukrán fegyveres erők katonai kapacitásának növeléséhez. E cél elérése érdekében az EUMAM-UA a fegyveres erők egyéni és kollektív taktikai szintű kiképzését, a személyi állomány speciális képzését biztosítja.
A programba beletartozik a területvédelmi harci alakulatok kiképzése, valamint a fegyveres erők alakulatainak kiképzéséhez szükséges fegyverek, felszerelések és lőszerek biztosítása – jegyzi meg a sajtószolgálat. Bulgária várhatóan a harctéri katonaorvosok számára tart majd kiképzést havonta legfeljebb 15 katona, évente legfeljebb 4 modul számára.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy az ukrán védelmi minisztérium átadta Bulgáriának azoknak a fegyvereknek a listáját, amelyekre az ukrán fegyveres erőknek van szükségük az Oroszország elleni háborúhoz.
