A litván parlament csütörtökön elfogadta azt a törvényjavaslatot, melynek alapján megtiltják a balti ország területén élő orosz és belorusz állampolgároknak a fegyvertartást.
A szabályozás 2023. április elsején lép hatályba, a törvény indoklása szerint így akarják elejét venni fegyveres szabotázscsoportok megalakításának esetleges zavargások idején – adta hírül az MTI.
Hivatalos adatok szerint jelenleg 294 orosz és 46 belorusz állampolgár rendelkezik fegyvertartási engedéllyel Litvániában. Az érintetteknek a jogszabály hatálybalépésétől számítva egy éven belül el kell adniuk fegyvereiket, vagy át kell adniuk a rendőrségnek. Az engedélyeiket bevonják. Amennyiben nem tesznek eleget az új előírásnak, elkobozzák a fegyvereiket.
Litvánia a kalinyingrádi orosz exklávéval és Fehéroroszországgal határos. A balti ország a biztonsága elleni közvetlen fenyegetésnek tekinti Oroszország ukrajnai hadműveletét.

Litvánia az ukrajnai orosz hadművelettel kapcsolatos véleményekről fogja kérdezni a tartózkodási engedélyt vagy vízumot igénylő orosz és belorusz állampolgárokat – közölte hétfőn a balti ország bevándorlási hivatala.
A két ország állampolgárainak a jövőben kötelező lesz ebből a célból egy különleges kérdőívet kitölteniük. Ennek döntő szerepe lesz a vonatkozó kérvények elfogadásában vagy elutasításában.
Amennyiben valaki megtagadja a kérdőív kitöltését, vagy csak hiányosan tölti ki az űrlapot, annak kérelmét el fogják utasítani. A litván hatóságok szerint más országok állampolgárait is felkérhetik a kérdőív kitöltésére. A feltett kérdések listáján az MTI szerint szerepel az iskolai háttér, esetleges katonai szolgálat, üzleti kapcsolatok, és korábbi tevékenységek után érdeklődnek a NATO, illetve nem uniós tagországokhoz fűződő viszonyról.
A külföldinek, aki Litvániába akar jönni, vagy itt tartózkodni, őszintének és nyíltnak kell lennie a kérdőív kitöltésénél. Egy ilyen személynek meg kell mutatni, hogy hajlandó együttműködni a fogadó országgal, amely megengedi számára azt, hogy a területén tartózkodjon – jelentette ki Evelina Gudzinskaite, a litván bevándorlási hivatal vezetője. Hozzátette, hogy a kérdőív bizonyos további biztonsági intézkedésként fog szolgálni.
Litvánia a kalinyingrádi orosz exklávé mellett Belarusszal is határos. Idén a balti állam 3415 ideiglenes tartózkodási engedélyt és 2769 vízumot állított ki orosz állampolgárok részére. Belorusz állampolgárok esetében 22 890 ideiglenes tartózkodási engedélyt és 1961 vízumot.

A litván lakosok befejezték a három tengeri drónra indított gyűjtést a „drónflotta számára”, melynek létrehozását Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök jelentette be. Litvánia lakosai 750 ezer amerikai dollárt gyűjtöttek össze.

Valdemaras Rupsys litván vezérkari főnök szóvivője szerdán a BNS helyi hírügynökségnek nyilatkozva közölte, hogy az utasítás a légvédelmi erőkre vonatkozik. Litvánia téli ruházatot küld az ukrán katonáknak – jelentette be kedden Arvydas Anusauskas, a balti ország védelmi minisztere Vilniusban.
„Az elkövetkező hónapokban néhány millió euró értékben téli ruházatot fogunk vásárolni a litván vállalkozásoktól, amit aztán átadnak az ukrán katonáknak. Ez azt jelenti, hogy mintegy 25 ezer ukrán katonát fogunk tudni ellátni téli ruházattal” – ismertette a tárcavezető a litván parlamentben mondott beszédében.
Anusauskas szerint Litvánia az ukrajnai orosz hadművelet február 24-i kezdete óta hozzávetőleg 209 millió euró (85 milliárd forint) értékben küldött katonai támogatást a kijevi vezetésnek. Legutóbb tábori tarackokat és páncélozott járműveket adott át a balti ország Ukrajnának.
Anusauskas, akit a BNS helyi hírügynökség idézett, hangsúlyozta, hogy országa továbbra is jelentős mértékben fogja támogatni Ukrajnát. Egyben úgy fogalmazott, hogy az országok között nincs verseny a támogatásokat illetően.
„Azt adjuk, amit tudunk, Ukrajna meg azt kéri, amire szüksége van” – tette hozzá a litván védelmi miniszter.

A török Baykar cég ingyen ad Ukrajnának Bayraktar B12-es típusú, pilóta nélküli repülőgépet, azaz drónt, jóllehet, Litvániában már összegyűjtötték rá a pénzt Ukrajnának – jelentette be Arydas Anusauskas litván nemzetvédelmi miniszter és a Baykar csütörtökön a Twitteren.
Litvániában közösségi finanszírozással összegyűjtötték a pénzt arra, hogy a balti ország új drónt vásárolhasson Ukrajnának az Oroszország elleni háború közepette. A pilóta nélküli repülőgépek kifejlesztésére specializálódott török Baykar cég azonban úgy döntött, hogy térítésmentesen adja át Kijevnek a drónt, cserében viszont azt kérte, az összegyűlt pénzt ajánlják fel humanitárius segélyként Ukrajnának.
A litván honvédelmi miniszter Twitter-bejegyzésében sokszoros köszönetet mondott a török cégnek a „hihetetlen” ajánlatért, s közölte, hogy az – egyébként három nap alatt összegyűjtött, 6 millió eurónyi – összegyűjtött pénzből a drónhoz megfelelő lőszereket vásárolnak, a maradékot pedig Ukrajna támogatására ajánlják fel.
