Vitalij Klicsko, Kijev polgármestere tájékoztatást adott az ország fővárosának áramellátási helyzetéről, miután ma reggel Oroszországból sorozatos támadások érték Kijevet. A Telegramon közölte a lakosokkal, „a villanyszerelők azon dolgoznak, hogy helyreállítsák az áramellátást, miután megrongálódott egy olyan energetikai létesítmény, amely mintegy 350 ezer kijevi lakást lát el energiával. A szakemberek más sürgősségi szolgálatokkal és a hatóságokkal együtt mindent megtesznek, hogy a helyzetet minél hamarabb stabilizálják”.



Az Egyesült Államok ukrajnai nagykövete, Bridget A Brink megerősítette, hogy ő és munkatársai menedéket találtak. Elmondta, hogy „ukránok millióihoz hasonlóan csapatunk ismét óvóhelyre húzódott, mivel Oroszország folytatja az ukrán nép elleni érzéketlen és barbár rakétacsapásait, hogy a tél közeledtével hideg és sötét legyen az országban” – adta hírül a The Guardian.

A Egyesült Államok kijevi nagykövetsége felszólította az Ukrajnában tartózkodó amerikai állampolgárokat, hogy hagyják el az országot, mert fokozott az orosz rakétacsapások veszélye – közölte kedden az rbc.ua hírportál az amerikai diplomáciai kirendeltség közleményére hivatkozva.






A jelentés szerint a nagykövetség jelezte: „az amerikai külügyminisztériumnak információi vannak arról, hogy Oroszország a következő napokban fokozza a rakétacsapásokra irányuló erőfeszítéseit Ukrajna civil infrastruktúrája és kormányzati létesítményei ellen. Az Ukrajna elleni orosz támadások folyamatos fenyegetést jelentenek a civilekre és a polgári infrastruktúrára egyaránt.” Ezért az Egyesült Államok nagykövetsége felszólítja az amerikai állampolgárokat, hogy azonnal hagyják el Ukrajnát, a rendelkezésre álló szárazföldi privát szállítási lehetőségeket használva, ha azok biztonságosak.



A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy a Reuters hírügynökség tegnap írt arról, hogy az USA hírszerzési értesülései szerint Oroszország a közeljövőben újabb támadásokat tervez Ukrajna civil infrastruktúrája és állami létesítményei ellen. Az Amerikai Egyesült Államok legutóbb július 14-én, a Vinnica elleni orosz rakéta támadást követően sürgette állampolgárait, hogy ne lépjenek be Ukrajnába.
