Tekintettel a világ jelenlegi kihívásaira – háborúk, terrorizmus, gazdasági válság – a turisták egyre inkább a biztonságra gondolnak, amikor új útnak indulnak.
2024-ben Izlandot ismerték el a világ turisták számára legbiztonságosabb országaként, amely a rangsorban azonnal nyolc helyet emelkedett tavalyhoz képest – írja a Time Out a Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection friss tanulmányára hivatkozva.
A rangsor vezetőjének meghatározásához a szakértők megkérdezték az Egyesült Államokból érkező utazókat az elmúlt öt évben meglátogatott helyekről, valamint elemezték a legfrissebb Global Peace Indexet és a GeoSure biztosító adatait is.
A második helyen Ausztrália végzett, amely tavaly tizedik volt, a harmadikon pedig Kanada végzett, amely tavaly első volt.

A brit külügyminisztérium többtucatnyi országot szerdán levett azoknak a célállomásoknak a listájáról, amelyek felkeresésétől a koronavírus-járvány miatt eddig eltanácsolta az utazókat.
A tárca 32 ország esetében vonta vissza ezt az útmutatást. Ezekbe az országokba a minisztérium eddig – egészen kivételes és elengedhetetlen indokoktól eltekintve – semmilyen céllal nem javasolta az utazást.
A listáról levett országok között szerepel mások mellett Fehéroroszország, Koszovó, Algéria, Örményország, Kazahsztán, Banglades és Malajzia.
Az intézkedés jelentőségét egyebek mellett az adja, hogy az utazástól eltanácsoló listáról levett országok felkereséséhez a nagy-britanniai biztosítótársaságoknál immár lehet utazási biztosítást kötni. A brit biztosítók gyakorlatszerűen elutasítják az utazási biztosítások megkötését olyan országokra, amelyek felkeresésétől a brit külügyminisztérium eltanácsolja az utazókat.
A minisztérium szerdán közölte: az utazástól eltanácsoló ajánlást azért oldotta fel az érintett országok esetében, mert ezekben az országokban javul a közegészségügyi helyzet, emellett a szakértők egyre inkább kiismerik a koronavírus természetét, és a nagy-britanniai oltási kampány eredményeként csökkent a brit utazókat fenyegető kockázat.
A tárca hangsúlyozza ugyanakkor, hogy a vörös kategóriás – vagyis járványügyi szempontból a legkockázatosabbnak tartott – országok felkeresésétől továbbra is eltanácsolja az utazókat.
A szerdai tájékoztatásban a brit külügyminisztérium kiemeli azt is, hogy a nem vörös kategóriás országokra a továbbiakban nem ad ki olyan útmutatást, amely a koronavírus-járvány miatt tanácsolná el ezeknek az országoknak a felkeresésétől a briteket.
Hétfőtől megszűnt a brit kormány által a külföldi országokra májusban érvénybe léptetett zöld és sárga járványkockázati besorolás is – az utóbbiba tartozott Magyarország –, és csak a vörös kategória maradt meg.
Ugyancsak hétfő óta nem kell koronavírus-tesztet elvégeztetniük az angliai beutazás előtt azoknak, akik a koronavírus elleni oltás mindkét dózisát megkapták, és nem a brit kormány által vörös kategóriába sorolt országokból utaznak Angliába.
Október végétől a nemzetközileg elismert vakcinákkal teljesen beoltott, nem vörös kategóriás országokból Angliába utazók számára megszűnik az angliai érkezés utáni második napon elvégzendő PCR-teszt kötelme is, és ehelyett az olcsóbb gyorsteszt (lateral flow test) elvégzése is elégséges lesz.
Mindez azokra vonatkozik, akik az angliai érkezés előtt legalább 14 nappal az Oxford/AstraZeneca-, a Pfizer/BioNTech- vagy a Moderna-vakcinából, illetve ezek bármilyen kombinációjából kapták meg mindkét adagot, vagy az egykomponensű Janssen-oltóanyagból részesültek.
