A Pentagon pénteken közölte, hogy az első, mintegy 635 katonából álló ukrán zászlóalj Németországban befejezte az M2 Bradley harcjárművön történő, nagyjából öthetes kombinált amerikai fegyveres kiképzést – írja a Guardian. Azt is tudni lehet, hogy további zászlóaljszintű kombinált fegyveres kiképzés is folyamatban van már.
Az Egyesült Államok január elején jelentette be, hogy több mint 50 darab M2 Bradley típusú páncélozott járművet ad Ukrajnának. Az erős löveggel rendelkező harckocsit az amerikai hadsereg az 1980-as évek közepe óta használja a csapatok harctereken történő szállítására.
