A közlekedési társaság az MTI-vel közölte: a 15 – öt szóló Volvo és tíz csuklós Ikarus – járművet hétfőn adta át Karácsony Gergely, Budapest főpolgármestere és Bolla Tibor, a BKV Zrt. vezérigazgatója Balog Istvánnak, Ukrajna magyarországi ügyvivőjének.



Nyár óta több megkeresés is érkezett a társasághoz Ukrajnából autóbuszok felajánlását kérve, de eddig a BKV nem rendelkezett működőképes, forgalomból kivonható járműtartalékkal – írták, hozzátéve, mostanra azonban – az autóbuszcseréknek köszönhetően – több tovább üzemeltethető busz is felszabadult.



Emlékeztettek: a BKV eddig is több alkalommal – melegedőbusszal vagy éppen humanitárius szállítmánnyal – segítette Ukrajnát és a Magyarországra menekülő embereket.
