Az orosz Wagner-csoport volt szakaszvezetője, aki Norvégiában kért menedékjogot, a múlt hónapban Oroszországban a The Guardiannak adott interjújában arról beszélt, hogy féltette az életét.
A 26 éves Andrej Medvegyev elmondta, hogy Ukrajnában szemtanúja volt annak, hogy a saját parancsnokaik által parancsmegtagadással vádolt Wagner-harcosokat − néha párosával − a helyszínen kivégezték.
Mint ahogy arról már korábban beszámoltunk, az orosz Wagner-csoport volt szakaszvezetője elmenekült az egységéből, múlt pénteken hajnali 2 óra előtt átlépte a határt Norvégiába a Pasvikdalen-völgy közelében, ahol a határőrök letartóztatták és őrizetbe vették.
Medvegyev elmondta, hogy egykori egységét többnyire olyan volt foglyok alkotják, akiket „ágyútölteléknek” küldtek a háborúba.
