Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök pénteken Csernyihiv megyébe látogatott, ahol megtekintette az erődítési munkálatok menetét – számolt be az rbc.ua az államfő Telegram-csatornájára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint Zelenszkij a videoüzenete alá azt írta: „Csernyihiv megye. Erődítmények építése. Az időszerűség és a megbízhatóság a fő dolog. Hálás vagyok minden érintettnek.”
A látogatás során az elnök három védelmi vonal építéséről kapott tájékoztatást a térségben. Konkrétan egy összefüggő, nem robbanó akadályokból, aknamezőkből álló sávot és kiterjedt erődítéshálózatot hoztak létre az orosz és fehérorosz határ mentén.
Korábban Vjacseszlav Csausz, a Csernyihiv Megyei Katonai Adminisztráció vezetője bemutatta a védőszerkezetek építésének előrehaladását a régióban. „Az építők nagyon motiváltak, mert felismerik, mennyire fontos, hogy feladatukat a megfelelő színvonalon végezzék” – mondta akkor a katonai megyevezető.
